- If you want to make Moemon/Fakemon (Specifically Uranium, Insurgence, Sage, Solar

Light, Xenoverse, CAP PRoject, Reborn) they'll be included in stuff like brackets,
judging, etc, but won't be qualified to win...also no Clovermon except the Oreo Eevee

CRITERIA FOR ENTRY (Gameplay):

-Characters are the only type of workshop item that are eligible for judging of the jam. If you
would like to create a stage, buddy, or other, feel free, but they will not be included in any of the
categories.
-Characters will be judged, gameplay-wise, to a standard of the base cast. This is not related to
balance, but if a character is missing moves, has a different art style, or has oddities that inhibit
the playability of the character, points will likely be docked.

CATEGORIES:

Gameplay: -/5
This category will be judged on the characters’ moveset, from a gameplay perspective. Do they
have access to solid kill moves without a gimmick? Is their neutral and advantage diverse?
Giving them solid strengths and weaknesses to make them have a refined gameplan will
contribute to this category.

Gamefeel: -/10
This category will be judged based on how well the characters' moves feel to hit, the flow they
have into each other, and the general consistency they have. Proper hit pause, hit sound
effects, visual effects, and good range are all part of what makes good gamefeel.

Visuals: -/10
This category will be judged based on the character’s visual polish, in all areas. This includes
animation flow, shading, readability (silhouettes and range), and extras like custom vfx or
particles.

Creativity: -/5
This category will be judged based on the unique ideas the character brings to the table in a
Rivals set. New mechanics, interesting twists on base cast mechanics, all is encouraged.

Translation: -/10
This category will be judged based on how well the design is transferred into a Rivals setting,
without taking away from the character’s personality or design. Fitting mechanics like abilities or
signature moves into the character is a big part of having them translate well.
