Data Communication

Data Communications is the transfer of data or information between a source and a receiver. The
source transmits the data and the receiver receives it. The actual generation of the information is
not part of Data Communications nor is the resulting action of the information at the receiver. Data
Communication is interested in the transfer of data, the method of transfer and the preservation of
the data during the transfer process.

Types of Conditional Sentence

1. Conditional sentence type 0 (zero conditional sentences). Bentuk kalimat pengandaian yang
digunakan ketika hasil atau konsekuensi dari kondisi terwujud alias memaparkan sebuah kebenaran
(general truth) dan fakta ilmiah. Rumus : if + simple present, simple present.

2.Conditional sentence type 1. Digunakan ketika hasil atau konsekuensi memiliki kemungkinan untuk
terjadi di masa depan. Rumus: If + simple present, simple future “will” / imperative

· If it rains, I will stay at home.

3. Conditional sentence type 2. Digunakan ketika hasil atau konsekuensi hanya memiliki harapan
terwujud walaupun kemungkinannya sangat kecil. Rumus: If + simple past/were, would/could/might
+ bare infinitive.

· If I were you, I would continue my study.

· If I had time, I would go with you.

4. Conditional sentence type 3. Sebuah kalimat pengandaian ketika sebuah kondisi tidak mungkin
terwujud sama sekali. Rumus: If + past perfect, would/should/could/might + have + past participle.

· If I had locked the car, the thief wouldn’t have stolen my car.

· Had I locked the car, the thief wouldn’t have stolen my car.
