1.0 INTRODUCTION
The main objective of this proposal is to seek the potential sponsor interest from
company in our upcoming UTM Career Carnival 2017 (CC ’17) scheduled in 18
April and 19 April 2017.

2.0 BACKGROUND OF PROGRAMME

Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) is a leading innovation-driven
entrepreneurial research university in engineering science and technology and is
continuously strives to develop and enhance quality academic and professional
programmes of international standard and global recognition. This university has been
recognized as one of the best university in Malaysia in producing high quality
graduates. UTM Career Centre is a platform to provide career information and
knowledge to student in UTM. Once again this year, UTM Career Centre will
be organizing Career Carnival 2017.

This event is aimed to facilitate and give direct exposure to industries to meet
UTM graduates in various fields such as science, technology engineering and
management. UTM draws specific various programmed for students to draw out
talents and potential which is mainly in the area of engineering, science and social
science. UTM is also a major contributor to field of engineering talent.

UTM’s mission is to lead in the development of creative and innovative

human capital and advanced technologies that will contribute to the nation’s wealth
creation. This is in line with the aspiration of the country towards becoming a
knowledge-based,innovation-led economy grounded in creativity and innovation
with high value creation. Through a strategic transformation of its organizational
structure, UTM is focusing in creating a vibrant academic culture and fertile
intellectual ecosystem that inspire creativity and innovation.

 TERMS OF PARTICIPATION
 All 6 packages are valid throughout the UTM CC’17 on 18th April 2017 to
19th April 2017.

 The organizer will provide the following throughout the UTM CC’17:

 Food and beverages, Mineral water

 On – site facilitation through the UTM CC’17 crew
 All the prices will be inclusive of GST.

 Each participating organization must register for one package only.

 Each participating organization must submit and register their interest through
the attached registration form before or on 1st February 2017.

 Full payment must be made by Telegraphic Transfer (TT) not later than 15th
February 2017 in the name of “BENDAHARI UNIVERSITI
TEKNOLOGI MALAYSIA”.

 All payments must be made in United States Dollar (USD).

 The organizer holds full rights to deny participation of organizations which

do not present full payment by the given date.

 To ensure each advertisement is presented in the best possible layout, each

participating organization must submit their advertisement materials before
15th February 2017. All materials for publication need to be submitted in PSD
format/Adobe Illustrator format and in CMYK colour.
 The organizer reserves the right to decline any advertisement materials if it is
not submitted before 15th February 2017.

 The participating organization must bear full responsibility for any

damages on equipment and facilities provided by the organizer.
 The organizer is not responsible for any loss of companies’ belongings and
properties.

 Exhibition spaces, booth selection and allocation during the UTM CC’17 are
limited and will be given on a first come, first serve basis.

 The organizer holds full rights to change

 Terms and conditions under the proposal without prior notice.
