Why Science Points to God

8 Quick Reasons I Think Science Affirms The Creator

Life's Origin 1) Our universal experience shows life only begets life.
2) No known naturalistic mechanisms for the origin of life.
3) Thus life came from another living being.
4) Christianity teaches that a living being, God, made life.

Biological 1) Physical life can only exist with liquid water and carbon
based chemistries.

Fine Tuning 2) Life can only use twenty types of amino acids out of many
possibilities and they can only be left handed, right handed
are toxic.
3) As specificity goes up, statistically, life becomes impossible.
4) Extreme specificity in life points to an intelligent cause.

Information 1) Our universal experience shows origin of complex,

functional and meaningful information always comes from a

Origin mind.
2) For example, the morse code, English language, computer
code and hieroglyphics.
3) There are no known naturalistic causes for this type of
information.
4) Life contains high quantities of information stored in the
DNA, RNA, protein, sugar code, and other epigenetic
sources.
5) Thus, we conclude it comes from an intelligent source.

8 Quick Reasons I Think Science Affirms The Creator

Bioinspiration 1) We are inspired by biological designs for our technology.

2) The designs in biology are superior to our designs, even
when we copy them.
3) Just because we seem to be able to use designs in nature
points to a cause that is similar, but much more advanced in
abilities and creativity than us.
4) The Bible teaches we are made in the image of God,
including the ability to create.
5) Thus, designs in biology point to a creator.

Biosimilarity 1) Some biological designs are similar to our technology in

structure and function.
2) Our technology comes from human minds.
3) Biological similar designs are much more efficient and
better designed than ours.
4) They are not from the minds of biological organisms since
they are intrinsic to biology.
5) Thus the designs came from a far superior mind.

Biological 1) Many biological structures are aesthetic pleasing to the

senses, such as flowers, leaves and other shapes and curves.

Beauty 2) Many don’t have any other function except, it seems, for
the sake of beauty.
3) Naturalistic origins would seem to only produce function,
sans beauty.
4) A personal and creative being would be the only cause to
make beauty for the sake of beauty and enjoyment.

8 Quick Reasons I Think Science Affirms The Creator

Fine Tuned 1) The universe is finely tuned.

2 ) If variables were changed even slightly, life, the solar

Universe system and the universe would not exist.

3) There are hundreds of these variables.
4) It is not only improbable but impossible that by chance this
all formed this level of specificity.
5) There are more chances to go wrong than the number of
atoms in the known universe.
6) Thus, it seems that an intelligent agent was the cause.

Science 1) Our universal experience shows that everything that begins

to exist had a prior cause.

Describes 2) Most scientists think the universe had a beginning.

3) Thus, it follows that it had a cause.

God 4) Since this cause cannot be part of the universe, including

time, matter and space, this cause must have been timeless
(eternal), spaceless and nonphysical.
5) In order to choose to create, this cause must have been
personal.
6) To create such a massive and finely tuned universe and life
out of nothing, this cause must be very intelligent and very
powerful.
7) Here are the attributes again, the cause is eternal, space
less, immaterial, intelligent, extremely powerful and personal.
8) Some call it the uncaused first cause.
9) Interestingly this happens to be exact description of what
the Bible calls "God."
