 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

1. Wear the apron ,while doing the work.

2. Follow all the safety precautions given by the Instructor and Workshop Suprintendent.
3. In Welding shop while working, take care of the following:
work.
a) Use always Goggles, hand Gloves, Helmet while doing the welding
b) Do not wear a Tie.
c) Before starting the Welding check electrical connections.
4. In machine shop take care of the following:
a) Hold the job on chuck tightly by using chuck key.

b) Remove the chuck key from the chuck before starting the lathe machine.
c) Do not give cut more than 2mm.

d) Keep your face and eyes away from cutting zone.

e) Hold the tool on tool post tightly and take and check the centre of tool before starting the machine.
Clean the machine at the end of practical.
g) In case of accident, report the authority immediately.
h) During working on machine do not chat with each other.
1) Do not rest/ push any part of your body on machine.
) Use the correct tool for the job.
k) Switch off the machine immediately if anything goes wrong.

1) Report all electrical, Mechanical faults to the instructor.

i) Mobile phones are not allowed.
