I. Project Title: Project P.A.L.E (Phonemic Awareness, Learners E-Book)
II. Proponent: DIANA A. CORESES – Teacher I
III. Implemented Activities/Interventions:

The imposition of restrictions making it impossible to learners to be physically present in the school.
Thus, this project initiative was conceptualized to create a safe and conducive space for learning at the
comforts of their home in preparation to the incoming SY 2021-2022 which is slated to open in
September 13, 2021. Dagang Elementary School will choose a “Model” class-home setting worth
emulating. This will serve as a benchmark for all of the participants in crafting their own class-home.
We firmly believe that a well-structured class-home equates to a better learning as it promotes
concentration and focus in the learning process. It will also rekindle their passion on learning as it will
provide a positive ambience for the learners. The activity is voluntary in nature and open to all pupils of
Dagang Elementary School. Participants will be monitored by home visit subject to strict standard health
protocol. Different social platforms will also be utilized in monitoring the progress of the said project.
Certificates and small token will be given to the chosen top 3 winners of the search. A rubric will be
used in grading the participants.
IV. Results/Findings:
The project was conducted from September 6 to 20, 2021. This project was initiated to
provide safe space for their child to learn in this kind of new normal. Having this kind of
spot at the comfort of their home elicits the enthusiasm of the learner to study despite they

are physically absent in the school. In addition, they were able to feel the spirit of learning,
rekindling their passion and able to feel comfort as they answer their module. Truly, this
project is an answer to the problem hoisted by the COVID19 pandemic. Parents positively
embraced the said activity as they see the benefits and worth of the project in the long run.
Teachers unwavering support contributes to the success of the project as they provide
material and technical assistance to the parents. The SH were able to see progress of the
project via a series of home visitations. To sum it up, this activity is indeed a timely and
relevant in this kind of new normal. As expected, there are few participants, this may be
attributed to financial constraints and limited materials. But the proponent intends to use
the experience so that in the next search, many parents will join. The proponent was
grateful that even with a short notice, some parents were able to join and give the best that
they can.
V. Recommendations:
After the implementation of My “Classhome” , the following recommendations were drawn:
1. My “Classhome” should be continuously patronized even when the pandemic ends as it

mimics a real life classroom setting that awakens the interest of the learner.
2. The proponent should intensively showcase the different model “Classhome” that will be
emulated by others.
3. Parents should be given a virtual appreciation activity to show the gratefulness in their
support to the program.
4. The activity should be a year-round search and become a routine for parent to have a space at
home dedicated to learning.
5. Participants should be capacitated in order to have a smooth flow of the project.
