SOALAN TUGASAN

TUJUAN
Tugasan ini bertujuan untuk mendedahkan pelajar kepada perkembangan kanak-kanak.
Pelajar juga akan didedahkan dengan teori perkembangan kanak-kanak dan bagaimana
ia berkaitan dengan kehidupan sebenar kanak-kanak.

KEPERLUAN
Bahagian A (20%)
Pilih DUA dari perkembangan di bawah dan huraikan dengan terperinci. Sokong huraian
anda dengan sekurang-kurangnya 3 sumber.

a) Perkembangan fizikal
b) Perkembangan kognitif
c) Perkembangan bahasa
d) Perkembangan sosio-emosi

Bahagian B (40%)
Untuk tugasan ini anda dikehendaki untuk memerhati dan menilai SEORANG kanak-
kanak prasekolah berumur antara 4 hingga 6 tahun. Pemerhatian tidak semestinya
dilakukan di sekolah kanak-kanak tersebut.
Perhatikan kanak-kanak tersebut selama 1 minggu.
Berikan perhatian terhadap DUA perkembangan kanak-kanak yang anda pilih dari
Bahagian A. Kemudian tuliskan satu laporan yang merangkumi perkara berikut:
1. Ringkasan laporan anekdotal pemerhatian anda;
2. Kaitkan data pemerhatian anda dengan teori yang telah anda bincangkan di
Bahagian A.

PURPOSE
This assignment aims to expose learners to children’s development. Learners will also
learn how to relate theories to the real life of children.

REQUIREMENTS
Part A (20%)
Select TWO developments from the list below and describe both developments in detail.
Support your description with at least 3 sources.

a) Physical development
b) Cognitive development
c) Language development
d) Socio-emotional development

Part B (40%)
For this task you are required to observe and evaluate a preschooler between ages 4 to 6
years old. Observation is not necessarily to be done at the school of the child.
Observe the child over a period of at least 1 week.
Focus on the TWO developments you have chosen in Part A. Write down a report that
includes the following:
1. Summary of anecdotal reports of your observations;
2. Relate the observation data to the theories that you have discussed in Part A.
