Temporary Mobile Phone Use Policy

Purpose
The policy outlines the regulations regarding the temporary use of personal mobile phones
during a period of global crisis.

Applicability
All Associates within WW Operations.

Effective immediately, we are temporarily changing our personal mobile phone policy to allow
associates to keep their mobile phones with them while working. During this global crisis, we recognize
the need to be connected should emergencies arise.

Mobile phone usage must be limited to approved rest breaks, meal periods, and during extended
production disruptions. If you receive an emergency call or text, appropriately stop what you are doing,
step away to a safe area, and respond.

The following are not approved:

• Mobile phone use while performing work tasks, walking, or driving
• Mobile phone use while on the truck dock, in the truck yard, or ramp/tarmac
• Mobile phone use in PIT lanes or while on/operating PIT
• Mobile phone use at Customer Service workstations
• Use of headphones or playing games, music, videos, etc. outside of approved break areas
• Photography, audio/video recordings, or live-streaming content in the facility

Violations are subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination.

You must be able to demonstrate evidence of mobile phone ownership upon request. Amazon is not
responsible for damage to or loss of your mobile phone while at work.

FAQ’s

Where should I keep my mobile phone while working?

Mobile phones should remain in a pocket or face down on your workstation (excluding Customer
Service).

Is this change permanent?

No, the change is temporary during this global crisis. We recognize the need for you to quickly connect
with health- and childcare providers as well as loved ones during this rapidly evolving situation.

Are other electronic devices allowed during this temporary change? No, this will be limited to mobile
phones.

Does this mean I can use my mobile phone in all breakrooms including those past security?
Yes, you should spread out during rest periods by utilizing the various breaks rooms within the facility.

Can I use my phone on the ramp? (Amazon Air)

No. We have relocating lockers to enable associates working on the ramp to more easily check them
during breaks or in between ramp operations.
