Abstract. The Ereke system is an electrical system in the north side of the island of Buton which is
part of the North Buton Regency. However, the operating pattern on the Ereke system is supplied
from the Baubau system and in some conditions it is operated isolated. From the operating pattern,
there were several conditions, poor voltage quality due to the geographical location of Ereke and
Baubau being too far ±170 kms, then if there was a widespread blackout the normalization process in
the Ereke system took quite a long time because of the Ereke condition that at the end of the network
and recorded in 2020, the Ereke system experienced a total of 76 outages. From the results of the
analysis, it is found that when using the operating pattern supplied from the Baubau system, the cost
required is Rp. 1,159,496.9/month with the risk of decreasing the quality of the voltage on the
customer and the length of recovery after the blackout extends/total blackout and if isolated is Rp.
1,622,262.413. /month which is more expensive but can reduce the length of recovery time after
interruption due to shorter network and reduced network loss. In addition, it is necessary to increase
the reliability described in the SAIDI and SAIFI value by changing the system's operating pattern.
Thus, the best option in developing the generation system in Ereke is to build an interconnection
Ereke system with the Baubau system accompanied by the construction of a number of feeders to
increase the voltage quality and reliability of the Ereke system and use simulations on the
ETAP/DigSilent software. All analysis is considered with the latest RUPTL 2021-2030.

I. Introduction
The highest peak load ever recorded on the Ereke system was 1850 kW. In addition, the operating
pattern on the Ereke system is supplied from the Baubau system, but in some conditions, the Ereke
system is operated isolated. However, when viewed from the geographical location, Ereke and
Baubau are too far ±170 kms and make the 20kV distribution network too long that connects. From
the operating pattern, several conditions occur, namely poor voltage quality (voltage drop) at the end
of the network reaching 15.6 kV and at Low Voltage 173 V. Then if there is a widespread blackout
(Blackout) the normalization process in the Ereke system requires It took quite a long time due to the
condition of Ereke being at the end of the network and it was recorded that in 2020, the Ereke system
experienced a total of 76 outages.

II. Methode
This research method is carried out by studying literature, data observation and interviews. Analysis
of problem solving taken using manual calculations and using the ETAP/DigSilent simulator. The
first stage to be carried out is problem identification. The next stage is the collection of literature and
data : power balance, system load characteristics (load curve), capacity and composition of existing
power plants, generating business report, troubleshooting reports.
The data will be used to analyze the problems that occur and analyze the problem solving by
calculating: alternative scenarios for operating patterns, system reliability index, cost of production,
approximate voltage, financial advantages and disadvantages of each operating pattern.
After completing the calculations and getting the results, a summary of the analysis and conclusions
are made so that the final report is declared complete
