The main point of our design thinking process is by using biodegradable materials and how to
overcome with solution biodegradable fashion and which is sustainable solution and with the
biodegradable fashion could help the industry more sustainable and will not harm the
environment from pollution and the major thing that people are in today’s word running back
of fast fashion and buy the cloths which runs on trends for period of time and just use and
throw and this will impact on environment and as per report of UN environmental
problem(UNEP)the global fashion industry is responsible for the 10% of carbon emission and
recent years in 2016 fashion industry created 92 million of waste water to overcome from this
problem the idea is how that biodegradable fashion could help overcome the problem we are
facing from fashion industry and make more sustainable. The biodegradable fabrics or materials
that we are using is cotton, hemp, algae, bamboo, citrus fruit, soybeans etc. all this
biodegradable materials are used for producing low and affordable sustainable cloths on fast
fashion.
1 the solution
To produce fast fashion sustainable clothing one of the best sustainable material is hemp will
be used to reversible. Hemp is plant organically cultivated and highly versatile hemp can be
mixed with other fabrics and for different qualities in the garments. Hemp Seed are eligible also
fiber is used to make sustainable cloths, then production of doesn’t need as much land and
water than cotton production or other fibers. The hemp plants will producing 1500 pounds of
fabric per acre while cotton produces only produces the fabric which is 500 pounds. The hemp
plants are best fabric materials to produce biodegradable cloths and hemp is stronger and
absorbent and better then cottons and decomposed after few months and also reusable. The
hemp fabrics are weather resister and uv and mold resistant great to outdoor wear. Soft canvas
and also light, faster in drying and confirmable it’s a natural cellulous fiber it takes any dye paint
well. The hemp fabric will generally will get softer with each wash and this fabrics is best to
produce reversible cloths.
2 The reversible biodegradable fashion clothing people are aware of and it has more space people are
running back fast fashion and people use and throw trendy cloths. The reversible cloths are ecofriendly
and people can wear with different ways as they can use the cloths of period of time without throwing
