Company Introduction

“Filipinos are known for their colonial mentalities, meaning they

prefer to buy products coming from other countries. They believe that
products manufactured abroad are durable, not all Filipinos can afford to
buy products coming from abroad and therefore there must be a way to
find solutions to let Filipinos buy and promote Filipino products. With this
colonial mentality, the producers of Mr. Gab Hygienic Products introduced
three of their production, the anti-bacterial liquid hand soap, sanitizer

Assume that a company near you wanted to expand into
foreign markets. What issues should that company explore
before deciding whether to export or to engage in foreign
direct investment?
Most businesses now have little choice except to sell their goods
and services outside of their home markets. However, not all markets are
equally appealing, and not all organizations are capable of pursuing all
markets. A corporation must choose markets wisely in order to have a
successful foray. These are the factors that I personally think I must
consider before deciding whether to export or to engage in foreign direct
investment.

First is Political and Legal Factors, before a corporation commits

resources, it is critical to understand the government's and people's
attitudes in the host country. The track record of a company, as well as its
stated attitude toward foreign investments and assets, should be taken
into account. The attitude of a country's citizens toward foreign
enterprises, products, and citizens must be taken into account. Citizens in
countries that have previously been dominated by foreign powers are
distrustful of anything foreign. Multinational corporations should have
patience and show long-term interest in the country's citizens by getting
actively involved in their well-being, rather than simply selling them things.
And the second one is Social and Cultural Factors, Countries differ in
terms of language spoken, religion practiced, food consumed, and a variety
of other factors. These distinctions are real and significant, and
marketers should analyze how they may impede or facilitate the company's
marketing activities in the new market. Products that affect people's daily
lives may need to be drastically altered or will not be accepted at all, but
industrial products may find acceptance in countries with vastly different
lifestyles.

These two factors for me is the most significant of them all

because without these, the company would be more likely be at loss. For
me, without considering these two factors, the company will not attract a
lot of customer.
