    1.1 THE EXPANSION REINFORCING BAND for Level 1~Level 4 of K1
    Building should comply with below design requirement:

    1. CONCRETE MIX FOR BUILDING K1 (PRODUCTION) SHALL


    BE AS BELOW:-
    - FOR CONCRETE WITHIN THE EXPANSION REINFORCING
    BAND ZONE, THE CONCRETE GRADE SHALL BE Grade G40 &
    MIXED WITH MICRO-EXPANSION AGENT/ADMIXTURE (ZY OR
    CALCIUM SULFOALUMINATE ANTI-CRACKING &
    WATERPROOFING AGENT HEA OR EQUIVALENT), WITH
    LIMITED EXPANSION RATE ≥0.03%.
    - FOR ALL OTHER AREAS (OUTSIDE THE EXPANSION
    REFORCING BAND ZONE), THE CONCRETE GRADE SHALL BE
    G35 & MIXED WITH MICRO-EXPANSION AGENT/ADMIXTURE
    ( ZY OR CALCIUM SULFOALUMINATE ANTI-CRACKING &
    WATERPROOFING AGENT HEA OR EQUIVALENT), WITH
    LIMITED EXPANSION RATE ≥0.02%.
    2. ADMIXTURE SPECS & CONCRETE MIX DESIGN TO BE
    SUBMITTED FOR ENGINEER’S APPROVAL & TRAIL MIX &
    STRENGTH TEST TO BE CARRIED OUT PRIOR TO
    COMMENCEMENT OF WORK.
    3. THE CONCRETE WITHIN THE EXPANSION BAND ZONE
    SHALL BE CAST AT LEAST 7-14 DAYS AFTER THE CONCRETE
    ON BOTH SIDES OF REINFORCING BAND ZONE IS CASTED.

    Be noted for below requirement except the above items;


    1.Bidders should fully consider the sufficient quantity & continuous
    supply of CONCRETE MIX in quotation and future construction;
    2. Specifications, catalogues & dosage of material / admixtures used for
    Concrete Mix need to be submitted together with the tender return
    documents;
    3. Method Statement for construction of concrete floor / beam and
    expansion reinforcing band need to be submitted together with the
    technical tender return documents. The sequence of construction to be
    indicated in layout plan.
