Content Standard: Pre-lesson: Pupils are guided to sing the Phonics song

1. Pupils listen to the sounds ay,ou,ie,ea and watch the
gestures shown by the teacher.
2. Pupils are guided to listen and say out the words by
using a suitable blending technique.
3. Pupils listen and say the words (M).
4. Pupils listen and are guided to say the words through
blending (L).
5. Pupils are given a boardgame to play in groups.

Complementary: 3.1.1 Identify, recognise and Post-lesson: Pupils complete the ‘Let’s categorise’
name the letters of the alphabet 3.1.2, 3.1.3, worksheet in page 3 Year 2 Phonics Module.
