SCENE-1
Narrator 1 - good morning, to all. We students class VII-D will be presenting an abstract from harry potter while we
show you the importance of measuring liquids exactly and what could happen if you don’t.
Narrator 2 - Harry Potter’s summer has included the worst birthday ever, doomy warnings from a house-elf called
Dobby, and rescue from the Dursleys by his friend Ron Weasley in a magical flying car! Back at Hogwarts School of
Witchcraft and Wizardry for his second year, Harry hears strange whispers echo through the empty corridors –and
then the attacks start. Students are found as though turned to stone... Dobby’s sinister warnings seem to be
coming true. But that’s another part what matters to us is chapter 12 Polly juice potion.
Narrator 1- Hermione brings a heavy book and sits next to Ron and Harry in the enchanted library. She says:
Hermione –I almost forgot about this book I took before the holidays for a bit of light reading.
Ron – This is light?!
Hermione – (staring in anger) do you want the potion or not?
Ron and Harry-We do!
Hermione – so kindly please keep your beaks shut and let me do my work!
Librarian-hush, Ms. Granger be quite and if you cannot you can get out!
Hermione –no professor, l am sorry (still staring angrily towards Harry and Ron)
Librarian – don’t repeat it again if you want to stay here.
Hermione – yes professor
Narrator 2 –Hermione sits down and continues searching how to brew Polly juice. At last she found a paragraph
relating everything about Polly juice. She ran to Harry and Ron and told them everything about it. After some time,
the announcement was made by professor McGonagall:
McGonagall- students of to bed! Students of to bed!
Narrator 1- all the prefects guided the students back to their dormitories.

SCENE-2

Narrator 2- today was a holiday for all the students. So, Harry, Hermione and Ron had got a great chance of
secretly making the potion, drinking it and knowing that who is the Heir of Slytherin.
Hermione – come on you 2. It is a great chance for us to know who the Heir of Slytherin is?
Harry – so where will we hide, Hermione?
Hermione – In the girl’s restroom
Both (Harry and Ron)-what! Have you gone crazy?
Narrator 1- they reach the restroom and Hermione answers them
Hermione- this is never visited by anyone because of Moaning Myrtle a ghost
Ron (in a scared sort of manner)-who-o-o is mo-o-o-oaning myrtle?
Moaning Myrtle (moaning) –l am moaning myrtle
Narrator 2- ignoring the ghost they start making the potion. Hermione takes out her measuring tools and
ingredients required for making Poly Juice and starts measuring.
Hermione (whispering and pouring)- 1milliliter,2liter,2.1centiliter
Ron –what’s this cl, l, ml
Hermione –kiloliter, hectoliter, decaliter, liter, deciliter, centiliter and milliliter are the units used for measuring
liquids in the non-magic world.
Ron – Hermione, stop all that non-magic things
Narrator 2- Ron forces Hermione’s hands into the cauldron and allows all the ingredients to go inside the cauldron.
Baaaammm!!! The potion blasted leaving stains on the walls of the restroom and the trio’s faces. All the dreams of
the trio were shattered by Ronald’s 1 mistake.
Hermione (crying and dipping face hands)-Ron you are soooo bad. l spent months on preparing that potion and
because of your 1 mistake everything is ruined.
Ron (holding ears) – Hermione, l am so sorry
Harry –Hermione its ok, forgive him. It doesn’t matter to me now
Hermione-its ok Ron
Narrator (1)-now we learn a lesson (2) and the lesson we learn is that always use measuring tools when doing
such work or something like that.
