Title: The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on university students’
learning experience.

Introduction COVID-19 has had a significant impact on how worldwide

(Include thesis statement) education is delivered. Due to the pandemic, millions of students
were affected by educational institution closures, resulting in the
most extensive online movement in educational history. In various
internet learning applications, teaching and learning exercises that
are normally done with up close and personal gatherings have
been transformed into virtual gatherings. This journal discuss on
how this pandemic is affected by this transformation. The impact
of the Covid-19 pandemic on university students’ learning
experience are the barriers of online learning pandemic situation,
grade comparison between face-to-face and entirely online
distance learning students, challenges and issues that they would
confront with online learning and
Body Paragraph 1 The barriers of online learning on pandemic situation are how
(Write main idea 1 and technology has influenced schooling. Students found it challenging

necessary as a learning tool, mobile devices such as laptops,
personal digital assistants, and mobile phones may generate stress
among online learners. Plus, most of lecturers in the university
prefer to do online classes on Google Meet or Zoom applications
rather than face-to-face meet for the reason that to stop the
germs to spread during Covid-19 outbreak. The availability of
devices like a computer or mobile phone and at the same time
internet connection are the basic equipment for online education
(Nitu et al., 2020). Thus, every student should have their own
gadgets to gain knowledge and not to be leave behind on the
course of university.
Body paragraph 2 Furthermore, there is a grade comparison between face-to-face
(Write main idea 2 and and entirely online distance learning students. The study of

in academic grade. (Ghada Refaat El Said,2021)
According to Ghada Refaat (2021), the COVID19-related lockdown
has deprived students of benefits from the support and mentoring
mechanisms offered by the university on campus.
Body paragraph 3 The impact of Covid-19 on university students is the challenges
(Write main idea 3 and and issues that they would confront with online learning. During
supporting details) the pandemic, the Malaysian Education Ministry has urged all
universities to conduct teaching and learning via online learning.
As we all know, the pandemic was a traumatic event for everyone,
especially students. Not every student has access to a fast internet
connection and cutting-edge technology it will cause depress for
certain people who are incapable. Other than that, Aristovnik et al.
(2020) analytical results suggest that students expressed several
worries regarding study challenges and were mostly bored,
nervous, and frustrated (Aristovnik et al., 2020, Hasan and Bao,
2020). Therefore, the university's academic decisions must consider
students' issues during the Pandemic, such as financial, mental
health, and balance between life and education to reduce the
unexpected circumstances.
Body paragraph 4 In addition, one of the emerging reasons for psychological distress
(Write main idea 4 and among university students of undergraduate level comes from the
challenges and issues that students faced with online learning. The

attitudes of students regarding online learning throughout the
pandemic and the grade comparison between face-to-face
students and fully online students via distance learning can be
fixed with enhance the online learning experience and increase
students’ satisfaction. They reported that the workload with online
learning is increased compared with traditional learning as they
have more exams, quizzes, assignments, and the classwork
became homework. This finding is inconsistent with the finding
by (Hussein et al., 2020). Moreover, existing studies indicate that
people with major affective disorders may have persistent
problems in processing sensory information, which has been
related to higher levels of depression, impulsivity, alexithymia, and
hopelessness in response to hazardous situations (Serafini et al.,
2017).
Conclusion In conclusions, the takeaway from this study is to be aware of the
efficacy, perception, and challenges of online programmes to save
students from suffering serious mental health problems. If not
removed, the proportion of extremely distressed will be
subtracted. This exploratory research was carried out to acquire a
better understanding of the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic on
the academic life and personal health of university students. Last
but not least, university decision-makers must embrace new
technologies and techniques to support interactive online learning
requirements and overcome the obstacles that contribute to
student dissatisfaction.
