UCEED is a computer-based examination for 3 hours duration

Question Paper
• There will be ONE question paper for 3 hours duration.
• The question paper will be in English.
• The question paper will be administered through a computer-based test.
• The question paper will carry a total of 300 marks.
• The question paper will consist of 3 sections.

SECTION A:
Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions
For these questions, the answer is a number that needs to be entered using a virtual keyboard in the
computer screen. No choices will be shown for these questions. There is NO NEGATIVE marks for this
section. Number of questions in this section is 20; Each correct answer will be awarded 4 marks. Questions
not attempted will be given zero mark.

SECTION B:
Multiple Select Questions (MSQ)
Each MSQ has one or more correct answer(s) out of the fou oices. There is NO NEGATIVE or
PARTIAL marks for this section. Number of questions in this n c be from 20 to 25. Each correct
answer will be awarded Sor 4 marks. Questions not� · given zero mark.
Note: In the pa.st years it has been noticed that eve earn ber of questions and weightage of marks in
this section had changed. �
SECTIONC:
Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) �
Each MCQ has four choices out of w I the correct answer. There is NEGATIVE marking for this
section. Numbers of questions in this se n 40 questions. Each correct answer will be awarded 3
marks and each wrong answer will receive (minus 1} mark. Questions not attempted will be given zero
mark.

Calculators, cherts, graph sheets, tables, cellular phone and/or other electronic gadgets are NOT allowed in
the examination hall.
