Smoking is harmful at any age, but it has long been a public health priority to prevent
smoking among children and adolescents. E-cigarettes are frequently recommended as a
strategy to reduce or quit smoking since they are advertised as a safe alternative to
traditional tobacco smoking. Electronic cigarettes are devices that deliver to the lung vapor
usually containing nicotine and other chemicals. It is also one of the most common problems
we are facing in today's world, and many people make it a hobby because of stress,
personal issues, and other reasons. In some countries, electronic cigarette awareness and
use has exploded in recent years, particularly among young people and women. The
perception established by marketing and the popular press that electronic cigarettes are
safer than combustible cigarettes may account for their quick acceptance. However, there is
evidence that they are not totally safe.

The Philippine Consumer Act tightened municipal laws prohibiting smoking in public places
and secondhand exposure to dangerous substances. According to the advisory, the risk of
second-hand exposure to e-cigarette emissions that may cause adverse health
consequences cannot be considered excluded, citing an assessment released by the
German Cancer Research Centre. It goes on to say that the public, particularly young
people, should not start smoking and should cease using cigarettes or e-cigarettes. Nicotine
is a chemical that contains nitrogen, which is made by several types of plants, including the
tobacco plant. According to the World Health Organization, the Tobacco epidemic is one of
the greatest public health threats the world has ever faced. Tobacco smoke is extremely
dangerous to human health. It is said that all forms of smoking are deadly. The use of any
smoking tools will not reduce the damage it brings to human health. Even for individuals who
do not really smoke cigarettes and E-cigarettes, the dangers of smoking are terrifying.
Second hand smoke can be dangerous as well. On the other hand, they have a three-fold
greater mortality risk than non-smokers, according to health experts. One of the biggest
causes of death in humans is smoking or vaping. Our body also has corticosterone, a type of
hormone that has the ability to weaken the effects of nicotine. It escalates when we have a
problem. Therefore, if you are stressed, you need to consume more cigarettes to feel the
effects of nicotine. We should avoid and quit smoking as soon as our health is not adversely
affected by any type of cigarettes. However, quitting vaping is difficult because it can impair
your ability to think. Anxiety, anger, and depression are all possible side effects. We must
first properly plan to stop smoking. You must set a date to allow yourself time to mentally
prepare and gradually consume E-cigarettes. You must also find healthy foods that can be
eaten when you are tempted to smoke, and there are many other things that can be done to
avoid smoking. It is critical that we refrain from smoking because it is more necessary to
protect our health while also shortening our lives.

​In Conclusion, E cigarette is enjoyable but it can damage our health, there are plenty of
things to do without risking your life. Live your life and leave smoke. Smoking has killed
many lives already, think of the consequences that you may encounter. Always remember
that health will always be wealth. Stay safe and healthy.
