c. Educational implications and the cross curricular value and domains
that can be applied.
d. Competency

into account all the Covid-19 measures given by the COPLEF.

4- The Peer Assessment is a given template (you have it in your Virtual
Campus) that will help you analyze a practical session and give some
feedback to your classmates, about the session they prepared, developed
and carried out

Assessment of the Class Group Work

There will be four different parts assessed for the Group Work:
● The written document (to be submitted electronically on the day assigned
in your work plan): 30% of the grade (Teacher assessment 75% and self-
assessment 25%).
● Presentation 25% of the grade
● Practical class: 15% of the grade
● Peer assessment: 5% of the grade

Not everybody will get the same grade

within the group work! It will be weighted
by your own group. The document is in
your virtual campus.

Annex 1. Clarification and comments

Here you can find some comments about the different parts of the Class Work,
the different parts and the expected outcome.
1- Video presentation of the game
Before the presentation, you have to create a short questionnaire and record the
answers (10 questions and answers) with google forms, which will help recall
your previous knowledge of the game.
It has to follow the “Didactic phases of the activities in a session” (you can find
the four phases in the “Guidelines of a lesson plan”).
The video presentation of the game should last no less than 15 minutes and no
longer than 20.
Structure:
• A short reminder from the previous class -theoretical & practical- (no
longer than 2 minutes).
• Theoretical presentation (definition, history, educational implications,
advantages and limitations, …)
• Brief presentation of the session:
o Aim
o Competency:
Explain the competency and how we work it with our game
What other competencies we can work with our game
o Content:
Key content (only mention it)
Clarify the content (definition and explanation)
Other contents that we can work with our game (two or
three).
• Synthesis activity – Kahoots. It cannot be a memorization or a “YES” or
“No” question. It has to be a question that relates the given contents.

The rest of the groups will submit 5 elements that should be improved, and one
group will make a synthesis of the proposals and sum them up in 3 items to be
improved by the following presentation.

2- Written Class Work

A. INTRODUCTION
The idea of the introduction is to introduce the reader to your classwork,
highlighting the general purpose of the work. The elements that need to be
in the introduction are:

Motor Skill Games

• You must provide your readers with a little background or basic

information about the topic you are covering. Present your topic and
outline what you are going to discuss.
• Your purpose and objectives
• A synthesis of all the chapters and contents.
B. THE GAME
a) Definition: several authors with their references (the specific game that
you have been assigned). You need to expand on this and find different
authors, and not just copy and paste. You need to cite the authors, and it
needs to be done in the correct format. Check how to do a literal citation.
b) Background and short history of YOUR game (the specific game that
you have been assigned).
c) Educational implications and the cross curricular value and domains
that can be applied. Remember to state what kinds of advantages and
limitations your specific game has in regards to physical education.
Remember to comment the reason you think that it is an advantage or a
limitation. Regarding the cross curricular value, you need to briefly explain
how you could link the content to another high school subject.
d) Competency
a. You need to fully explain the competency you will be working with
and comment how you are going to work with the competency and
how your game helps develop it.
b. Mention what other competencies you could develop with your
assigned game.
e) Content
a. You need to state the chosen Key Content, as well as the content
you have selected to work with.
b. Define and briefly explain the content
c. How you are going to develop the competency and the main
learning aim with this content.
C. GAME SESSION
a) Aim/aims
a. You need to write the Learning Aim of your session. You need to
explain how you came up with it and you need to describe how you
will accomplish the aim (The Secondary Education Curriculum will
be the main resource). You need to describe how you plan to
achieve the aim with the activities that you will develop, not just
explain the activities.
b) Session Template. You have the template of the session in your virtual
campus. When finished, It can’t be more than two pages.
Here, all you have to do is attach the last version of your template.
If you have had several versions, explain how it is been modified
and why. As many times as you have modified it.

c) Assessment of the session

a. Video reflection. You need to show and verbally explain 5 clips of
positive outcomes during the development of the session, and 5
clips of things that need improvement (upload YouTube). ATTACH
THE LINK!
b. Self-Evaluation of your game session and others feedback. Here
you will describe, explain and reflect about the session you taught:
• self-reflecting about what went well and why. You need to
explain what went well and elaborate why things went right.
• About what did not go to plan. Again, you need to think why
it didn’t go as you expected and elaborate the answer. The more
things you analyze and comment, the better.
• the comments received by your classmates. You will collect
the comments that your classmates will make about the session.
You need to reflect on them.
• And how you could you improve your session and why this
is important. You need to elaborate.

D. CONCLUSIONS
Here you will summarize the work carried out briefly.
Afterwards, do not forget to assess your classwork objectives. Which ones did
you achieve and how (or if you did partially); which ones you did not achieve
and why, and what you could have done to achieve them.
At the end of this chapter, you can include recommendations for future work
in your topic. If you do, explain why.

E. REFERENCES
a) Used: here you need to write down all the references that you used to
create your class work. All the academic references, that are mentioned
in your Classwork. Make sure to include all sources you used during your
small research and writing stages, that are mentioned during your
classwork.
b) Recommended: Here you can attach all the references that you might
think are interesting, useful and resourceful for your classmates, just in
case that they might need them for the future. For example, if you found
an interesting blog that talks and show games that you though they were
worthwhile, you can attach the reference. Or a webpage, or a book.

If the references and citations do not follow the university student

guidelines, you will not be awarded a pass. You will not be graded
unless you follow the guidelines.
