Course Length: 60 periods

Course Description: This course is designed to provide students with practical skills and techniques of public speaking. At
the end of the course, they are expected to be able to successfully deliver speeches about relevant topics.

III. COURSE POLICIES:
A. Grades:
1. Grade Policy: All grades are public and transparent to all students. Any complaint about grades
(except the final exam score) should be done by the last day of the course.
2. Group Work Policy: All students are required to take part in group work presentation.

B. Technology and Media
Students are encouraged to contact with lectures via email beside class hours.
IV. STUDENT EXPECTATIONS:
 Attendance will be checked in term of class activity participation, or roll calling. Those
students who are absent more than 20% of the class meetings will be forbidden from
taking final examination.
 Absence should be informed to lectures before or after the day. There are no make-ups for
in-class presentations, the midterm or the final exam.
 Use of mobile phones, laptops or other gadgets without lecturer’s agreement is forbidden
during class hours.
 Cheating and plagiarism will be seriously punished.
