A centralizing platee is supplied

supplied is materiaal to make yyour own too suit other bed gaps.

To fit th move the locknut at thee bo om off the jig basse plate andd then fit the size 
he plate rem
plate too suit your lathe bed annd  ghten tthe bolt. Check the platte is squaree to the base plate 
one is used  or measure
with a sset square iff a square o e each side w
with a rule.. The disc w
will work 
as well as a squaree but you wiill need to sset it square
e across the
e bed of thee lathe. The early 
units haad the head d of the boltt at the bo om but it hhas now beeen changedd to the top..

On the later models the bolt h head is on ttop of the jig to make itt easier to fifit the centrralising

Set the base arm aat 90 degreees to the beed and adjusst the cu er height to  the centre height 
of the laathe. The w

c lied can be cut to the length of th e exposed sstem on 
the cu er assemblly and then fi ed on too the stem sso that the assembly caan be remo oved 
and repplaced witho out re‐se ng the heig

When tthe correct height is set the white  plas c tube
e can be cut to be usedd as a spaceer 
betweeen the quill aassembly and the holdder. This can
n be seen in
n place on thhe next pictture

assembbly only needs light pre essure.

first Sphere is achievedd and then sscrewed 
forward ds to the baack of the qu
uill assemblly. The wingg nut is thenn used to loock the ball in 
place. TThe tool cann now be retracted andd the next sphere will b be the samee size when the 
ball reaches the baack of the quill assembbly.
