Definition:

It is the study of effect of work and the working environment on the health of worker and influence
of the state of health of the workers on his abilities to perform the work for which he is employed.

Aims of Occupational Health:


1:The promotion and maintenance of the highest degree of mental physical and social well beings of
workers

2:Prevention among workers

3:The protection of workers in their employment from risks resulting from factors adverse to health

4:The placing and maintainance of workers in occupational health environment adapt to his
