We refer to the conversation we had about our servicing facility and are pleased to offer you our
services contract for one year on the following terms and conditions for servicing of your diesel
generator set.
Date of commencement of the contract: From the day we received the signed service contract
form.
The contract may be renewed for further period on such terms and conditions may be agreed upon
from time to time.
AMC Service Charges 500KVA PERKINS of Rs: 40,000.00 lumpsum 1DG SETS per annum
visits, one every month one visit, + Break down Visit,
(FOR ENGINE, ALTERNATOR & CONTROL PANEL)

GST Extra @18%

We shall visit your DG SET with the proper intimation on a mutually convenient date to enable
your production accordingly.

This contract does not cover top overhauling major overhauling and repairs to the engine. If these
works are entrusted, the small shall be treated on the extra charges. Spares and servicing materials
for GENSETS shall be provided by us on chargeable basis.

The other general conditions as detailed out been in our contract form enclosed herein shall apply.
Kindly confirm your acceptance by sending and returning the copy of this contract along with the
cheque for that contract amount.

 GENERAL CONDITIONS

The general conditions for work for service contract/repair of the generator/and machines would
be as per the following terms:

1. The service Maintenance/Repairs charges will be as shown in the schedule rates.

2. The maintenance contract is essentially a design to perform the routine maintenance

service involving a general checkup and the periodical adjustments and to get in trouble
free of the performance of the engine and alternator.

3. Top overhauling and repairs to the engine are not covered in the scope of the
maintenance service/contract which can be done by us at extra cost. In such an event, we
shall submit our quotation for the work involved and approximate estimate of spares
separately for the approval.

4. The routine maintenance and periodical checkup of equipment will be carried out by our
service engineers/Technicians’ once a month for period of one day per engine.

5. Any servicing materials and spares i.e, filter elements, worn out hardware’s, lubricants
etc required by service engineer would be provided by the customers.

6. The customer is advised to insure the machinery while under repair/transport under
suitable insurance policy.

7. This contract is subject to exemption from the effects of war, riots strikes and unlawful
occupations and of general force majuere shall apply.

8. TERMS OF PAYMENTS

a) Payment for the annual / repair service should be made in advance by cheque/cash before
the agreement becomes effective.
b) The cost of spare parts supplied or outside jobs done through by us are to be paid fully in
advance,
SCHEDULE “A” SCOPE OF NORMAL MAINTANANCE SERVICES

1. FUEL SYSTEMS:
Checking up fuel pump & injectors for leakage.
Checking the governor and throttle link systems for proper operations.
Checking fuel pipe lines for leakages.
Checking fuel filters, cleaning the same of sediments, if any, and necessary.
2. AIR SYSTEMS :
Checking and cleaning Air filters, changing filter elements as and when necessary.

3. WATER COOLING SYSTEM :

Checking the water pump for leakage.
Checking belt tension, and changing belts if necessary.
Checking radiator for leakage and replacing hoses of required.

Check water cooling systems.

4. LUBRICATION SYSTEM :
Checking lube oil pipes for leakage,
Checking lube oil pump and pressure gauge for proper working.
5. ENGINE
Check engine for general performance,
Check and reset if necessary, valve tappets.
Check foundation bolts
Check coupling between the engine and alternator. (Re Alignment not included)
6. Routine checking for performance to turbo/super charger heat exchanger. Does not
include any servicing/repair thereof.
7. ALTERNATOR:
Open terminal box, check and clean all nuts and bolts.
Check slip ring.
Check carbon brushes for wear, tension and proper contacts.
Check AVR’s excitation voltage, checking AVR , rotating rectifiers, surge suppressor
etc.
8. AMF PANEL :
Open and clean for dust and vermin’s
Check all nuts and bolts for loose connections.
Check working of all meters and relays.
9. All defective parts may be removed and handed over to the client for
procurement/outside repairs. Any visits specially for re-fixing will be charged extra.
10. Monitoring engine performance on no load and load. Report on assessment will be made.
11. All Check must be followed by repairs/ replacement of necessary parts,
12. VALIDITY
The effective date of Annual Contract Agreement shall be from the date here of or the
date of payment of contractual fees, which ever is later and it shall remain in force for a
period of twelve months from the said operative date.
13. The contract is not transferable.
