Preface
All praise due to Allah. We praise Him and seek His help and forgiveness. We
seek His protection against the mischief of our souls and the evil effects of our
bad deeds. One whom Allah guides, none can lead him astray and one whom He
misguides none can guide him. And I testify that there is none worthy of
worship except Allah; He is one, without partner; and I testify that Muhammad
(Sallallaahu – alayhi – wasallam) is His servant and Messenger.
The reason, why I selected this particular title. ‘A Message to the Atheist,’ is to
recognize that atheist need to hear the truth and this is a clear message and a
clear warning. Just as the prophets and messengers preach to their people about
believing in God and warning them against rejecting God (Allah) and the grave
consequence for those who are misguided.
By compiling, this short book, that will argue such case as to the claims to being
know God. This theory, of tackling misguidance, was always on my mind. The
first encounter, I had was in London a place called ‘speakers’ corner’. I came to
a conclusion that I had to compile a short book explaining the benefits of
believing in God (Allah) and to guide those who do not belief that there is a
creator who created all forms of life.
The subject matter, regarding atheism, is an interesting topic in terms of the
argumentation that Islam brings against atheism. Hence the sole purpose in
which the concept of atheism brings only confusion and the bizarre theory and
arguments, that only trigger more confusion and self-doubt.

Introduction
All praise is for Allah. We praise Him and seek His help and forgiveness. We
turn to him in repentance and seek refuge in Allah from the evil of ourselves
and the wickedness of our own deeds. Whomsoever Allah guides, cannot be
lead astray and whomsoever Allah misguides, none can guide him. I bear
witness that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone without
any partner, and bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and messenger. May
Allah praise and send much peace upon him and all of his companions.
Understanding of atheism, requires understanding the psychology and
perception of thoughts that have slight confusion in matters regarding the
concept of God.
Atheism is in the broadest sense a rejection of any belief in the existence
of deities. In a narrower sense, atheism is specifically the position that
there are no deities and any statements to the contrary are false ones. This is not
to be confused with 'negative atheism' (or agnosticism) which declares that there
is no evidence or knowledge about gods or god and thus has no belief in
reference to a God. It is an important distinction because young children are not
'atheists' simply because they have no view on God. The infant would have no
evidence for any view on the topic. The English term 'atheist' was used at least
as early as the sixteenth century and atheistic ideas and their influence have a
longer history.
In the East, a contemplative life not centered on the idea of deities began in the
sixth century BCE with the rise of Indian religions such as Jainism, Buddhism,
and various sects of Hinduism in ancient India, and of Taoism in ancient China.
Within the astika ("orthodox") schools of Hindu philosophy, the Samkhya and
the early Mimamsa school did not accept a creator deity in their respective
systems

Do you not see that God created this world as a purpose, to embrace the
magnitude? A magnitude of a higher authority, that put everything to is perfect
order. In which, our purpose as humans is to serve the creator, within the
boundary of not associating partners to God. But to simply, obey the legislation.
The Quran (book) that God through to earth. A book (Quran) made simple, easy
and truly has the weight of certainty and truth in is scripture and words. Hence
the purpose in which we can understand the nature of our existence, results in
that which mankind without a clear direction and purpose, only happens, when
God is not included.
If we were to think that things evolved without purpose, can truly be damaging
and a psychological disease, that renders the faults of bad thinking.
The mind, can understand from that which is false and that which is true, only if
the intellect is guided. Sometimes the mind plays tricks with us. For example, if
you were to imagine that you were in a desert and your thirsty and in distance
you see what looks like to be a small lake and a date palm your first initial
reaction would be finally water and a resting place. But when you get closer you
see there no lake or palm tree this is known as a mirage.
A mirage ‘is an image, produced by very hot air, of something that seems to
be far away but does not really,’ (Cambridge Dictionary). A mirage associates
that which is illusionary and this world were in, is an illusion.

 “Know that the life of the world is only play, and idle talk, and pageantry, and
boasting among you, and rivalry in respect of wealth and children; as the
likeness of vegetation after rain, whereof the growth is pleasing to the
husbandman, but afterward it drieth up and thou seest it turning yellow, then it
becometh straw. And in the Hereafter there is grievous punishment, and (also)
forgiveness from Allah and His good pleasure, whereas the life of the world is
but matter of illusion.”(Quran 57 verse 20)

The example of the mirage is that, is a false analysis and a false perception. Just
like the false minds of those who want to cover up the truth with doubts surely
there is an exist to the light. A light the brings you comfort; peace and sense of
direction, is Islam.
Purpose to understand, your own personal individual need for God whether
psychological, spiritually, metaphysically all have a state of awareness into why
things happen? The nature in which the mental and spiritual feeling towards
your creator turns to emotion, love, fear and hope. If you truly understand this,
then is, the first step towards God (Allah).

The Devil’s deception

There is only one person to blame for the envy that Shaytan (Devil) has towards
people causing them misery, hatred and envy. Weather, the case is related to
belief that the devil throws doubts upon a person heart so he makes them
deviate from the truth.

[Satan] said, "Because You have put me in error, I will surely sit in wait for
them on Your straight path.”

“Then I will come to them from before them and from behind them and on their
right and on their left, and You will not find most of them grateful [to You]."
The devil, is always wrestling with mankind, weather being a believer or non –
believer. The wrestling that occurs through the non – believer is forgetfulness
and the wrestling the occurs through the believer is struggle. The wrestling
between you and the devil, can continue until death or when the major signs
have happened.
Why does evil happen? Or understanding the Concept of the evil, can truly be
answered through the faults of sin.
The devil plays a major role in deviating mankind to doubts, confusion,
misguidance, mistrust and indifferences. A small proportion of atheist when
face with the subject of God is brought into the discussion or mention to them,
they do not want to hear it, but a question is reflected upon them, is my heart
and my intellect imprison due to our hidden enemy shaitan (Devil) and is my
heart and intellect trapped from remembering our Lord (Allah)

If I was to approach an atheist, and ask him do you believe in the creation. If
creation has acceptance, then doesn’t a higher authority have acceptance as
well. When we are talking about a higher authority, it truly makes sense. The
reason is:

- Everything we can sense has been designed and made

- You don’t have to see your Creator to know He exists

When the Dajjal (Antichrist) arrives he will display his false teachings, his
universal deception and mislead the minds of those who vulnerable to him.
What is the relationship that ties upon won that doesn’t belief in God and that of
Dajjal (Antichrist), it equals disbelief, misguidance and the ignorance only
follows the route of evil. The Dajjal will have disbelief tight inside his fist
holding it ever tighter as he smiles with his dark deception.

We must always identify the problems within are self, what we are striving for?
what is the straight path? what is the real purpose in which we seeking? truly
Islam answers this question. What the devil does, is he tries his best to blind and
deafen the heart, in order for it to be misled, misguided and to make you
situation seeming less.
The Heart
Sin drowns the heart from understanding the basic element of which is
reflecting upon God’s creation and essence of doing acts of goodness.
Therefore, when the mind and heart is covered from the truth. What happens is
the perception of the true reality becomes dented which therefore corrupts the
spirituality.
The heart is the most important organ in the body. Al-Nu’man ibn Bashir
reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
Verily, in the body is a piece of flesh which, if sound, the entire body is
sound, and if corrupt, the entire body is corrupt. Truly, it is the heart.
The heart plays a major role, in obtaining belief, mending spirituality and
directing you to the truth. In essence, the question needs to be asked am I
truly seeking the correct method of belief and how do I distinguish between
what is right and what is wrong and what is false and what is true. If you can
understand this then you’re the on the second step towards God (Allah).

“Those who have believed and whose hearts are assured by the remembrance of
Allah. Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allah hearts are assured."(Quran
13 verse 28)

In terms, of remembrance of Allah, which does strengthen the heart. Because
strengthening the heart requires patience and staying away that which causes
harm. If you look at the heart that is blind to the truth. Then one has to ask
himself, what is the psychology of my heart, what have I done to my heart that
is shielding me from hearing and seeing the truth.
Prostration has a powerful effect in identifying, where the problems are and
how to tackle the problem. Furthermore, prostration redirects your emotional
need for God that alters the very existence of life and is perception.

Death
A person, who is doubting God and questioning, the very existence of creation
can come to a conclusion, that death is true, and no person knows what the
hereafter brings. The reflection of death, reflects upon the person true essence of
what have I done in life? Why don’t I feel God presence? Why are bad thinks
happening? These questions can be answered.
Those who belief, that there is no god. They belief in the reality of death
because death is something you can see and is apparent to the true reality of the
next journey. Death does really answer the person who is in doubt, death effect
the mind and heart.
The nature of death and is relation, with those who are distance from the truth
can come to a reality and say that the when a person sees the death his emotion
is tied upon fear, regret and mending his relationship with God (Allah).
Death and is relationship, with those who disregard the concept of God. Only
paints the clear reality of where there at with God? Their story and are they
struggling within the evil surrounding that imprisons them, from finding the
truth.
Ibn al-Qayyim reported: Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have
mercy on him, said to me once, “What can my enemies do to me? My paradise
and my garden are in my heart wherever I go. They are with me and never leave
me. If I am imprisoned, it is seclusion for worship. If I am killed, it is
martyrdom. If they expel me from my land, it is tourism.”
Identifying the fault within are self’s and rectifying the mistakes we make, can
only makes us stronger not weaker. But that if we go against God’s command,
then were only going to fall into weakness.

The true error of misguidance, can only result in those who have no belief will
experience a weight of blindness in the heart. The blindness of heart can range
from factors such as ignorants, indulging in evil deeds, greed and etc.
“Creation created itself,” is a concept made up, is a fantasy perception that has
no true meaning in is phrase. Creation without a purpose can truly be a creator
that fashion everything to is perfect order. A creator that can construct the
impossible to being possible.
Creation cannot create itself, there must be a source the governs and branches
every affair. God’s thinking and understanding is beyond are empathetic.
Creation has a purpose for which it is created for, but creation cannot govern
without creator.

“He regulates the affair from the heaven to the earth; then shall it ascend to Him
in a day the measure of which is a thousand years of what you count.” (Quran
32, verse 5)

Self – reflection
Self – Reflection can be a good spiritual moment, for those who are finding
God. Then the question is how do I find God? What steps do I need to take to
reach him? Steps to take for example are:

1) - Your emotions, when reflecting is a sign and warning that your heart needs
the truth and that your heart prostrates to the one who created all forms of life
Allah.

2) - Raise your hand and say “O Allah help me and guide me to the straight
path, change my heart to the truth and take away any forms of doubts.”
3) – capture the moment, use the self – reflection as tool for forgiveness. Use
the self – reflection to recharge the heart to is spiritual state and origin.
Deep reflection within is selves requires the heart to be nurtured with discipline
and monitoring your emotional need for God. Throughout our life whether
being a believer or not, we always need a higher authority, is within are nature.
Deep contemplation, can be a healthy assessment, not just for the heart but for
the soul especially. For the person without knowing God, when does a deep
contemplation happen? when a love one has passes away or sudden illness has
happened.
Deep contemplation comes and goes, is how you seize the opportunity in trying
to understand who is God? and what steps am taking to know him?

Conclusion
The concept of God, is not a concept that is knew. There is no origin, to God
and his existence is more than infinite. Negative thinking towards the creator
can be a damage that leads to a psychological destruction of one’s character and
perception. The one who denies God, is holding the devil’s hand that leads him
to misconception and doubt. The way to conquer doubt is to wage war against
the devil in seeking truth and purity.
