Introduction
The true nature in understanding creation, particularly the extraordinary
creation of Adam, which God (Allah) himself implemented. Can really be
identified, as something truly astonishing.
Creation bares weight in is form, uniqueness and image. The purpose of Allah
creating Adam is that human beings are a unique life form that was created by
Allah in a special way, with unique gifts and abilities unlike any other.

“We have certainly created man in the best of stature;”(95:4)

The gift of existence from Allah and being able to breath, is an incredible sign
of Allah mercy and greatness. We as humans forgets this, Allah says

“And be not like those who forgot Allah, so He made them forget themselves.
Those are the defiantly disobedient.”(59:19)

3
Before the creation of Adam

The plans of God (Allah) are great, complex and unimaginable. Before, I
discuss, the plan in which God (Allah) created Adam. We have to really
understand what Allah has already achieved, as Allah does not need are praise.
However, we need him mentally and spiritually. In which he Created the
throne, the kursi, the pen, earth, the heavens, the angels, the jinn and many
other things that Allah has not informed us about.
The plan of Allah, has many forms of wisdom mainly to acknowledge the
existence of creation, that only has, one creator and one source, Allah. Every
plan that Allah establishes, is to remind us of where things evolved from, there
source, the requirement of is existence and what their purpose is?
The agenda of such creation, like for example the creation of Adam, can only
have two purposes, to remember who created it and to recognize the
magnitude and seriousness of source of all life, that only reflects, the creator’s
extreme creativity, design and a universal function that defines the source of
all existence, Allah.
Understanding why God (Allah) created things in such manners with such
planning and precision can reflect upon the greatness of who Allah is? and
what Allah is cable off.
When Allah told the pen to write everything that is going to happen, till the
day of judgment. Allah’s plan and agenda in creating Adam was already
thought, and that the initial concept in creating mankind was pre-determined.
The excellence of our creator, in given as value and benefits in existence, can
really truly be a blessing, yes there are laws. However, yet the rules are a
goodness and benefit to the heart.

4
The creation of Adam (The Plan)
The plan of Allah in creating Adam, the first human, created by clay. Indicates
wisdoms and benefits, the wisdom being to show mankind unique form,
complexity, and honour. The benefit being given the blessing of life can
manifest in goodness and true consecration. Every action requires planning
and preparation. The process of creating Adam from clay reflects and makes
understand the complex and universal power that Allah has and will always
have.

The plan in creating Adam, was told by Allah. Allah says,

And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I
will make upon the earth a successive authority." They said, "Will You place
upon it one who causes corruption therein and sheds blood, while we declare
Your praise and sanctify You?" Allah said, "Indeed, I know that which you do
not know." (Quran 2:30)

Allah has given authority on earth a creation that has been honoured above all
other creation, which is mankind.

5
“And We have certainly honored the children of Adam and carried them on the
land and sea and provided for them of the good things and preferred them
over much of what We have created, with [definite] preference.”(Quran 17:70)

The essence of leadership, that was given to mankind and the trust between
mankind and Allah, connects to the roots of prostration and responsibility. The
declaration of life consists, of doing acts of goodness; to treat one another
with kindness, not to get angry, not to steal or lie and the essence of purpose is
to remember, who created us and following Allah legislation, as it an arrow of
true guidance to the heart.
The Angels are another form of creation, made from light. The Angel intend
was not to question Allah’s motive but rather to question, what they have seen
in the past. The psychology of the question, the Angel pose, is to ponder upon
the humbleness of the question, as the angel continued in praising Allah.
In the above verse, regarding the question pertaining the creation of mankind.
Two words are used that relate to the classification of the major sins, that are
conveyed by the angel which is ‘corruption’ and ‘sheds blood.’ These two
terms used by the angel can be a reminder and the truth, in which problems
occurred in the past and that the angel was simply identifying previous errors
as a result of the other creatures’ intentions and faults.
The creation of Adam, was in stages. The first stage of Adam creation was that
Allah commanded the angels to gather a handful of all the different types of
the soil from the earth, this included red soil, black soil, white soil and all the
colours in between these colours including the soft soil and the firm soil. An
Angel took a handful from all the different types of soil and brought them to
Paradise.

6
Allah, the Most High said:

“And We did certainly create man out of clay from an altered black mud.”

The nature in which clay was manifested and original created by Allah. Gives
presentence in the substance, the origin of material, is strength, is mixture and
what it brings? Can only be identified by Allah.
‘certainly create man out of clay,’ this particular verse identifies the authority
and command of Allah that mankind was created by clay. Furthermore, Allah is
reassuring and reminding us what mankind was created from.
There is no mention about how long it took Adam to be created or the stages
in between. The creation of Adam began:

1) mixed with water it becomes mud,

2) when it is left to stand the water content reduces and it becomes sticky
clay (or mud).
3) If it is again left for some time it begins to smell, and the colour becomes
darker – black, smooth clay.
4) It was from this substance that God (Allah) moulded the form of Adam.
5) His soulless body was left to dry, and it became what is known in the
Quran as sounding clay.
6) Adam was moulded from something akin to potter’s clay.
7) When it is rapped it produces a ringing sound

Allah created Adam in His image

7
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon
him, said, “If one of you fights his brother, let him avoid the face. Verily,
Allah created Adam in His image.”(Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2612)

The word ‘image’ can refer to the physical and outer structure that Allah
created Adam. Furthermore, Allah shaped Adam given him internal substance
i.e. mind, heart, lungs, veins, blood and this would relate to the image of
Adam’s internal and external creation.
The image in which Adam was created, reflects upon the greatness of creation
that implements in is reflection, structure and perfection which Allah has
displayed in his qualities.
Adam’s image was established through, what was there and what was
apparent. The reason for Adam being created in his image, is that Allah wanted
certain creatures like for example the Angels and Iblees to see how things are
developed and Adam creation was just a glimpse of Allah power and
extraordinary design.

The difference between Adam creation and Mankind

The Most High, said:

“Who perfected everything which He created and began the creation of man
from clay.”

And,

8
“Then He made his posterity out of the extract of a liquid disdained."

The verse shows the difference in comparison in how Adam was created and
how is offspring created from ‘fluid,’
Adam was created externally and mankind was created internally. Hence, the
creation of Adam, is that he was created in his image. The external creation of
Adam, can reflect upon the truth and how things were formed. With the
internal creation meaning the process in which the offsprings of Adam was
created inside the womb of Hawa (Eve) which therefore, is an internal process.
The internal existence for example referring to the foetus, whether the foetus
is developing at a stage where is a lump flesh or in another particular stage
where life is given i.e. the heart beating. The foetus growth is something that is
hidden from sight of humans.

“Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is
hidden.”

The different between Adam creation and mankind is that the offsprings of
Adam was created hidden (i.e in the womb of Eve (Hawa)). And that Adam was
created in his external image, with the elements i.e heart, liver, lung etc placed
in is perfect order. Furthermore, Adam was physically taught by Allah through
speech and knowledge, whilst mankind is taught by man after man and women
after women.

9
Conclusion
The nature in which Adam was created, is a reflection, upon the creation itself.
Meaning the creation can be a mirror and justification for is evidence and
proof that things were created by Allah and there no doubt in this. When you
look at something like for example a tree, the tree has substance and life at
first and eventually when the tree ages it dies, mankind is the same.
