Needless to say, our casters are all quite expert, and any mis-cast models are weeded out at an early stage. Very occasionally a model will tern up in a shop minus an arin or leg, Out this Is very rare. To stop air blocking a mould we have to cut small channels into the rubber, and when the model is east these ‘ait vents’ form small, Jorg, thin pieces of metal attached to the model. These are unavoidable, and can easily be removed, usually they can be pulled on. Another common feature you will find on your modeis are mould fines. Where the two halves of the mould meet it is possible for 3 little of tre molten metal to seep through. This results in lines of ‘etal all the way round the model, a ittie lke silver paper.
