At the end of this activity, the FS student must be able to achieve the following intended learning outcomes:
1. describe the components of learning management plan;
2. explain the importance of learning management plan;
3. identify the best practices in creating effective classroom or remote learning management plan; and
4. promote behavioral, social and academic success in a structured environment that caters to tolerance, exemplary
behavior and learning.

Classroom management or meeting the needs of students can be one of the crucial parts of teaching-learning process.
However, it is the key component in any educational setting. If students are safe in a learning environment, then teaching-
learning process can take place. This activity focuses on creating a classroom routine that will make teachers and students
more productive. As a pre-service teacher, you should be committed in making classroom a safe and challenging environment,
engaging your students through the curriculum, as well as getting to know them and interacting with each other. You should
develop a democratic and equitable learning environment so that students can learn effectively.

Direction: Read the following items below before doing the indicated tasks.

1. Conduct interview with a teacher or adviser regarding best practices about effective learning management plan.
2. Observe etiquette and netiquette during the online observation and interview process.
3. Always follow the minimum safety protocol.

Pre-Pandemic
Using of Projector and PPT to present the lesson.
Conducting group activities, and tasked my students
to disarrange their chair and to form a circle to see
all of them. They can choose where they want to seat
as long as they are comfortable and able to learn
easily. Classroom Design

Pandemic:
Conducting activities through online platforms such
as kahoot and jamboard. Encouraging everyone to
open their cameras to see all of them.

Pre-Pandemic
Using the usual rules in classroom such as avoid
talking with seatmates, sit properly and raising hands
if the students would answer or want to say
something.
Rules and Discipline
Pandemic:
Always reminding them to be kind and
compassionate with each other. Following the online
class netiquettes. And reminding them to use the
chat box properly and avoid unnecessary topics that
are not related to the lesson.

For scheduling, the division chief is the one who is


creating the scheduling for the teachers. For the
given schedule, they are only given one
synchronous class per week and a total of 3 Scheduling and Organization
synchronous classes for 8 weeks. And if there are
power interruptions or unexpected things that
happens during the conduct of synchronous
classes, they are conducting make up classes. They
also recording the lesson for the students who are
not able to join the synchronous class.

The objectives of learning management plan for me, when it comes to set of ideals, values, beliefs and

goals is to create and maintain a positive, productive and safe learning environment. Also, to support and

foster a safe classroom community with kindness, love and respect to everyone. And also, to organize and

For me, the criteria and/or standards that I will set to judge the quality of the classroom/remote

learning environment is first, it must accessible. In this time of pandemic, this must be one if the quality that

remote/learning environment must have. Our students must have access to the teacher, their study materials

and the necessary information to help them guide their leaning. Second, it must be engaging, though the class

is conducted through online, we must still establish a classroom that is interactive in order for our students to

participate in class. And lastly, it must be safe. Safe in a sense that they feel that they are valued by everyone

and to eliminate discrimination.

1. What classroom rules and procedures will you formulate to ensure discipline and order in your class? How will you
ensure safety and security of your students?

First is to remind them to always be kind and compassionate with each other. Always reminding them

to become honest about everything and to always respect and understand one another. For their safety and

security, in this time of pandemic, I will encourage them to stay at home as much as possible, while we are

having our class. And in order for me to check their safety and security, I will encourage them to open their

2. What strategies will you employ for rewards and consequences?

For the rewards and consequences, I will first explain what are the things that would be rewarded and

the things that has consequences. Explaining it to them the importance of having this rules and discipline will

help them to develop their characters in order for them to become a better person. For the rewards, I will give

recognition to those students who are abiding the rules and regulations of our classroom, and to those who
____________________________________________________________________________________________________
are not abiding the rules, I will first give them a warning and talk to them, if the student is not really abiding
____________________________________________________________________________________________________
the rules and regulations, then it is now the time to give the consequences of their action. For the
____________________________________________________________________________________________________
consequences, I will make sure that the student would not hurt or harm.

3. What techniques are you going to use to maximize the effectiveness of your classroom management? Include the
description of your specific techniques.

There are various techniques to maximize the effectiveness of classroom management. If I am going

to become a teacher, I will set effective limits and keep to the schedule that I set. For setting effective limits, I

will set my expectations clear and simple. For example, instead of saying, “No side talk,” say “Please raise your

hand to add to the conversation.” For the second technique, keep to the schedule that I set, this will help my

students respect schedules and work within designated time frames.
