Significance of the study

Employee remuneration is pay in the form of salary or reward given to the employee in return for their
work performance (Prachi Juneja, 2001). According to Shadar et al. (2009), employee motivation is one
of the policies that are implemented by the manager to check the effectiveness of how employees are
motivated. It shows how the companies can move with the monetary remuneration and their
employees' working motivation and have a lot of room to improve because of how their companies are
handling them. According to Nahar and Zayed (2019), non-monetary reward is one of the reasons for
high output employee performance, along with recognition and constructive feedback. The researcher
determined that they needed to know the impact of the remuneration on the motivation of the
employee to do their best at work. This helps them when to do their best at work and how to
compensate for their performance at work and how to adequate their existence in the companies where
they belong. Most of the literature explains the remuneration, but there's no literature that explains the
impact of this on the employee. The researcher pegs the first pieces of literature to know what the
impacts of remuneration on employees are out there.
