NUCTECH COMPANY LIMITED ii SAS Operation Manual

NUCTECH Abu Dhabi AC6015XN Project Version1.0/2011/07

Chapter 1 Introduction

The manual is compiled only for operators of System Administration Station. It

provides detailed operation instructions for System Administration Station of
Operation & Inspection Subsystem of NUCTECH AC6015XN Project.

1.1 Requirements on Post

Operators of System Administration Station should be familiar to the workflow of the

whole Operation & Inspection Subsystem, and master the operations of System
Administration Station.

1.2 Equipment Configuration of System

Administration Station

System Administration Station consists of a PC with a color monitor, a keyboard, and

a mouse.

1.3 Functions of System Administration Station

The system is used for System Administration Station of the Customs to manage
system roles, users, resource group, resources, browse and search statistic data, and
management log.

There are large numbers of users for the System. Every user has different access
privileges to different resources. For example, some users can enter into pre- check-in
interface, some can enter into check-in, and others can enter into image inspection. If
the system administrator defines the roles for each user one by one, it is hard to
imagine the workload for doing so. System Administration Station provides

management based on role, which largely reduces the burden of the administrator.
