OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH
SEMESTER 1 2021/2022

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) at Home/University Awareness Video.

1. Specific Instruction:
a. This assignment will be carried out in a group.
b. Each group consists of maximum 5 members.
c. Upload your assignment VIDEO in a YOUTUBE.
d. Submission date: By 13th January 2022 before 3.30 pm.
e. This assignment accounts for 10% of the total marks for the course.
f. Submit your soft copy assignment ONCE only in a SINGLE file. Please state your
section, list of team member and a youtube link in a piece of paper.

2. Things To Do:
• Produce an exciting/interesting/attractive Health, Safety & Environment
(HSE) at Home/University Awareness Video (every student in a group shall
prepare a video). EA4
• Students may choose any location at your own home/university such as kitchen,
living hall, room, study desk, playground, laboratory or stair area that able to
educate public about cause and effect from OSH hazards. Make sure each
group member attend to one different location area. EA1
• The awareness deliverable information can be obtained through searching
from Youtube video or other media platform is acceptable, journals, books,
conference proceedings, technical reports, news reports, broadcast/tv reports
or company magazine/profile. Site visit to outside house or university is not
required. EA1
• Relate the Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) at Home/University
Awareness content/material with relevant Occupational Safety and Health Act
(OSHA) 1994, Factories and Machinery Act (FMA) 1967, Environmental
Quality Act (EQA) 1974, Health, Safety and Environment Management
System standards/guidelines and/or theories/procedure/standard practices.

3. Outcomes
a. Recorded video
i. Each group is expected to submit their short video in Week 14 by 13th
January 2022 before 3.30 pm (min 3 minutes and max 5 minutes
video file. Student may choose any video maker software application.
ii. Language: English
iii. Each group is compulsory to upload the video in Youtube. A piece of
softcopy assignment indicate the Youtube link shall be submitted to the
web-based platform identified by the lecturers (either Dropbox,
Edmodo, UTHM Author, Google Drive or etc.).
