Define And Describe Virtualization

Virtualization is the development of virtual versions of some things instead of the

actual things, for example, the operating system, and network resources. Virtualization is a

technology that uses applications abstracted away from the usual software or hardware. The

hypervisors detach the physical resources from the physical environments and the users work

within the virtual environment (Brigham, 2016).

Describe Various Types Of Visualizations

There are various types of visualization, and they include, temporal, and they are

always linear and single dimensional. Second, network visualization connects datasets to

datasets and illustrates how datasets are related to each other. Third, multidimensional

visualization and they have many dimensions, and other types are geospatial and

miscellaneous virtualizations.

Reasons Why Companies Should Virtualize

Virtualization has the following benefits in a company: first, best response time

because the application performance will be improved. Second, reduction and redeployment

of machines, with the use of virtualization there is nothing like server sprawl because

virtualization consolidates the workload (Brigham., 2016). Third, improving the applications

companies’ services.

Benefits Of Blade Servers

Blade servers are designed to optimize computer servers to use minimal energy and

space. The following are the benefits of a blade server: first reducing the rate of power

consumption. Second, they increase the processing powers (Lucchese & Varagnolo &

Johansson). Third, the blades are easily serviceable because they are easily hot-swapped.

Fourth, blade servers reduce cabling.
