Project Title: Usage & Attitude towards Smart Personal Devices among Student Community

trust. We want to help people unlock new and meaningful experiences not just with consumer
electronics, but also in life.

Nothing is a privately held company with backing from GV (formerly Google Ventures) and
other private investors including; Tony Fadell (Principal at Future Shape & Inventor of the
iPod), Casey Neistat (YouTube personality and Co-founder of Beme), Kevin Lin (Co-
founder of Twitch) and Steve Huffman (Co-founder and CEO of Reddit).

What are we looking for?

An energetic and self-motivated marketing intern to join our growing marketing department. If
you’re an ambitious individual who wants to build a career in marketing with a premium
consumer technology brand, then we would love to work with you. Your work will include
understanding student’s community insights with the help of market research, comprehending
student consumer purchase journey, usage & attitude towards different brands in the personal
consumer technology space and developing recommendations for penetrating the student
community segment for smart devices.

The Marketing Intern will work on an assignment for a period of 8 weeks. The schedule will be
as follows:
● First week will be dedicated towards understanding the organization’s mission, vision
and core values along with project requirements.
● Second week will be drafting the approach methodology for student consumer study
● Third and fourth week will primary & secondary research collecting market
information, student in-depth interviews
● Fifth week, will be focused on analysing the data
● Sixth week to prepare final presentation & recommendations
● Last week will be spent in presenting to the leadership team, incorporate feedback and
submit the final report

Responsibilities:
● Conduct primary and secondary research to understand the student drivers,
motivators, apprehensions and consumer journey w.r.t. smart devices
● Craft research questionnaires and devise appropriate channels to reach out to
student community
● Do a detailed competition scan w.r.t marketing, media, product and sales channels
for smart devices
● Analyse the data and find useful patterns & trends, very specifically unmet need
gaps which have not been addressed
● Feasible recommendations w.r.t student consumer insights and opportunities that
can be tapped into the company

Requirement:
● Currently enrolled in a full time Postgraduate program in Marketing or Sales
● Passionate about understanding consumer behaviour & brands
● Outstanding analytical and presentation skills
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Internship Location: Gurgaon, Haryana (India Corporate Office)

Monthly Stipend: INR 50,000 monthly
