 Adaptability.

 While you may have established a routine that works well for your day-to-

day work, it's vital that those working from home are flexible. Trust.

Scan to Email Vs Scan to File

Scan to Email automatically scans a photo or document, launches your e-mail

application, and attaches the file as a JPG image to a new outgoing message. This

feature works with MAPI-type e-mail such as Microsoft® Outlook, but not web-

based e-mail such as Yahoo® or Gmail. Before you begin, place your original1 on

the scanner glass or in the Automatic Document Feeder.

The Scan to File feature allows you to scan a document and automatically save it

into a specified location on your computer in PDF format.

Video Chat

This type of communication can be done by adding web cameras for video calling

application. By using this application, one can communicate with others and also

they can observe with whom they are speaking. The webcam can be connected to

the computer externally and also, we need to use applications like Skype,

Hangouts, etc.

E-Mail

E-Mail or electronic mail is the most used type of electronic communication. By

using this communication, one can send a message to another person through a

mail immediately. For that, we need to create an account to send an e-mail, media

files, photos, documents, etc.

Discuss how EACH of the following email features is likely to be beneficial to

an administrative assistant who has to send out meeting documents to

members of a board:

The ability to send to multiple recipients- Multi-sent messages can be used to

send information to multiple people at once for less work and better info

range.

4
An address book- Address book management software allows you to keep contact

information safe in one location.

The ability to send attachments- Email attachments reduce delivery costs. Emailing

documents as attachments removes the need to pay for postage when the document

is going outside the office. It also reduces the need for workers to manage intra-

office mail.
