STRENGTH & CONDITIONING COMPLEX
Specific to NSU’s student-athletes, the strength & conditioning facility is a state-of-the-art 5,500 square
foot training area designed to provide student-athletes with everything they need to succeed, including
Infinity Max impact flooring, 16 Hammer Strength Racks, six sets of UCS Plyo-Safe Boxes, 10 TRX
Suspension trainers, Iron Grip Customized Urethane dumbbells ranging from 2.5lbs – 125lbs, 10 plus
Hammer Strength Iso pieces, four sets of UCS Olympic Hurdles, two-10ft Customized Slide boards,
four Keiser Trainers, Endless Perform Better Accessories, eight sets of customized Werksan Olympic
Bumpers and Bars , two Star Trac Treadmills with 15” HD TV’s embedded in the touch panel. Over
15 tons of free weight equipment is offered in the facility. The NSU Strength and Conditioning facility
is located on the first floor of the Athletics Services Building.
LOCKER ROOMS: Locker room and shower facilities are available upon request for visiting teams.
They are located adjacent to the facility, on the west side of the Athletics Services Building.
PARKING: Located on the south side of the aquatics center.
NSU SOCCER COMPLEX
The NSU Soccer Complex consists of one practice field and one game field. The game field is home
for both the men’s and women’s soccer teams. Both fields come equipped with lights that allow for
night practices and games. The game field features state-of-the-art grandstand seating with capacity
for 900 spectators. The stadium-style seating is the newest addition to the complex, which was built
prior to the 2000 season. The U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team and several MLS teams, including
the Miami Fusion, have all used the NSU soccer complex as their training site. The Orange Bowl
Committee has entered into an agreement to use the NSU Soccer Complex as the official training site
for one of its participants. The 2004 National Champion University of Southern California used NSU’s
Soccer Compex to prepare for the BCS National Championship game.
PARKING: Visiting team vans/buses are asked to park parellel to the Fire Lane on the west side of
the NSU Soccer Complex. Public parking is on the north side of the field, in the commuter lot.
LOCKER ROOMS: Locker room and shower facilities are available upon request for visiting
teams.
PARKING: Parking for baseball is in the parking lot on the east side of the NSU Baseball Complex.
Additional parking is in the HPD Parking Garage.

PARKING: Parking is available in the lot located directly behind centerfield of the main field and
in the lot located to the left of the field. Visitors can also park at the HPD Parking Garage, located
behind right field.

PUBLIC PARKING: Parking is in the commuter parking lot located on the east side of the Don Taft
University Center or in the Library Parking Garage off SW 30th Street.
TEAM BUS/VAN PARKING: Visiting team vans/buses are asked to park in the loading dock at the
Arena at the Don Taft University Center.
LOCKER ROOMS: Locker room and shower facilities are available upon request for visiting teams.
ATHLETICS COMMUNICATIONS
OVERVIEW
The Athletics Communication Department provides a variety of services to the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and the news
media. Athletics communication duties include keeping accurate statistical data of each athletic event and providing publications for
each team such as game programs, schedule posters, and press releases.
In addition, the Athletics Communication Department organizes gameday operations and provides information to the local and
national news media and to the student-athletes’ hometowns. A member of the NSU Athletics Communication staff will be present
at home games and may travel with NSU teams for selected road contests.
The Athletics Communication Office is located on the second floor of the Sharks Athletics Buidling on NSU’s main campus in Davie,
Florida.
GAME-DAY INFORMATION
CREDENTIALS
Members of the working press, electronic media and other news agencies can request credentials to cover NSU athletic events by
calling the NSU Athletics Communication Department at least 24 hours prior to game time. Accredited photographers and Electronic
News Gathering (ENG) crews may shoot from designated areas at all events.
STATISTICS/MEDIA SERVICES
Programs, fact sheets and cumulative statistics will be furnished to the working media prior to game time. Complete statistical
information will be available to the media at the conclusion of all NSU home athletic events.
INTERVIEWS
All one-on-one interviews with Nova Southeastern University players and coaches should be scheduled through the athletics
communication department. Please provide at least 24 hours advance notice to allow interview arrangements to be made. Interviews
at the conclusion of all home games will be held after a brief cooling-off period. Any requests for visiting team interviews should
be made through the visiting team’s sports information representative. If one is not present, the athletics communications staff will
assist with visiting team interview needs.
RADIO/VIDEO BROADCASTS
Phone access will be provided for visiting teams’ radio broadcasts upon request. If a visiting team’s radio is traveling, please contact
the sports information staff 24 hours in advance to secure a phone line.
TICKET PRICES
The ticket prices for all Nova Southeastern University regular season athletic events are $7 for adults, $5 for visiting students and
seniors. Children under 12 are free. NSU students, faculty and staff receive free admittance with a valid NSU ID.
PROHIBITED ITEMS
The following items are strictly prohibited at all Nova Southeastern University Athletic Facilities: alcoholic beverages, weapons of
any kind, fireworks, coolers or picnic baskets, bicycles, air horns, laser pointers, musical instruments or noise makers and animals.

Nova Southeastern University’s Athletic Training Staff is dedicated to high quality medical care of its athletes, and those of visiting teams.
To ensure quality coverage, a Certified Athletic Trainer (AT) and athletic training students (ATS) will be in attendance at all athletic events.
The NSU Athletic Training Room is located in the new University Center facility. This building is located just west of College Avenue at the
end of Mary R. McCahill Drive (East Main Entrance). The Athletic Training Suite is located in the southwest corner of the building. The Sports
Medicine Clinic is located on the ground floor of the University Center, adjacent to the Athletic Training Suite. Please see enclosed NSU campus
map for further information.
Please notify one of the NSU AT if your team will be traveling without an AT. If your team will be traveling without an AT, a letter from the AT
must accompany the athlete, plus all necessary supplies so that the NSU athletic training staff may assist your team properly. Please fill out the
attached questionnaire and return to the athletic training department at NSU.
The NSU Athletic Training Staff provides the following services for visiting teams:
1. Access to the Athletic Training Suite two hours prior to the start of the contest.
2. Ice, water, ice bags, and cups are provided at the bench and in the dugouts.
3. A biohazard kit and AED.
4. Air splints and crutches will be available if needed.
