The final rites of Presiding Nayaka of
Maha Withutayama Zaygon Pariyatti Bud-
dhist Learning Centre of Pyinmana in Nay
Pyi Taw State Ovadacariya Abhidhaja Maha
Rattha Guru Agga Maha Pandita Agga Ma-
ha Ganthavacaka Pandita Dr Bhaddanta Ka-
visara (Sasa-nadhaja Siripavara Dhammaca-
riya) who passed away took place at the
Maha Withutayama Zaygon Pariyatti Bud-
dhist Learning Centre of Pyinmana in the
afternoon of 14 June.
The final rites ceremony was attend-
ed by the State Sangha Maha Nayaka Com-
mittee Sayadaws, members of the Sangha,
Chairman of the State Administration Coun-
cil Commander-in-Chief of Defence Ser-
vices Senior General Min Aung Hlaing,
Council members, Union ministers, disci-
ples and religious associations.
The Senior General and party took
the Five Precepts from Secretary of the
State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee
Thanlyin Minkyaung Monastery Sayadaw.
The Senior General, the Vice-Senior Gen-
eral, the Union Minister for Religious Af-
fairs and Culture and disciples covered the
remains of the Sayadaw by diamond velvet.
Joint-Secretary of the SSMNC read
the message of contrition sent by the State
Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee. The
Chairman of SAC, the Vice-Chairman and
congregation offered alms to members of
the Sangha. Chancellor of Sitagu Interna-
tional Buddhist Academies Dr Bhaddanta
Nyanissara delivered a sermon on contrition
and the congregation shared merits gained.
Next, the disciples requested the late Sa-

yadaw to forget their sins and then finally
paid homage.
Next, the master of ceremonies re-
quested the conveyance of the remains of
the Sayadaw onto the Karaweik. The re-
mains of the Sayadaw was carried onto the
decorated float and conveyed to the pagoda
festival ground of the Uppatasanti Pagoda
where the crematorium is located. Members
of the Sangha recited three stanzas of San-
vega Gatha starting Anicca Vata Sankhara,
and Sadhu three times. Then, the remains of
the Sayadaw was cremated.

Buddhist Learning Centre in Pyinmana of
Nay Pyi Taw State Ovadacariya Abhid-haja
Maha Rattha Guru Dr Bhaddanta Kavisara,
a religious miracle, passed away aged 95
and 75 vasa. A ceremony to set the ashes of
the Sayadaw adrift into the water will be
held in Kyitaung village near the
Paunglaung River on 15 June.

vests, a body of handmade gun, one hand-

iron balls each, Seven NLD flags, three
NLD headbands and other related items.
Security forces received news on 12
June that suspected stuff sent from Yangon
arrived at highway bus terminal in Loikaw
township of Kayah State. Security forces
arrived there and managed to arrest Thet
Mhuu Aung and Kalae Min Min Oo along
with two small bags and 32 boxes contain-
ing old clothes for terrorists, a box contain-
ing various sizes of shoes, seven boxes con-
taining various kinds of medicine, six boxes
containing various kinds of commodities,
six bags loaded on a Hijet car without li-
cense bought by fund for providing terror-
ists.

Regarding the illegal weapons en-
trusted to the security forces, 12 hunting ri-
fles from Mabain township of Northern
Shan state, six handmade guns from four
townships of Ayeyarwady region, four hunt-
ing rifles and two handmade guns from two
townships of Magway region, one hand-
made gun from Haigyikyun township of
Thanintharyi region, ten hunting rifles from
Matupe township of Chin state were en-
trusted to the security forces respectively.
From 12 to 14 June, nine handmade guns
and 26 hunting rifles from eight townships
were entrusted to the security forces.
It is reported that the arrested offend-
ers will be taken punitive actions under the
law and the related offenders will be identi-
fied to arrest.

 On 13 June, an offender from Dawei township in Tanintharyi region was ar-

rested along with three shotguns, 160 cartridges of 12 Volt, 13 handmade mines,
two electric mines, one remote mine, two sets of walkie-talkie, five bulletproof
vests, a body of handmade gun, one handmade fire cracker, 20 cans containing

items.

Offenders who Exploded and Destroyed Railway Track at Ka Nyut

Lwin who exploded and destroyed railway
track near Taungkone village of Ka Nyut
Kwin township on 8 June 2021 was arrested
at a KTV namely „Station‟ located beside
Yangon-Mandalay Highway on 10 June.
According to the confession of Hein
Min Tun, another seven offenders including
Kaung Pyae Zaw (s/o) U Win Hlaing were
arrested on 11 June along with a bag, given
by San Shay (aka) Nay Lin Tun (under scru-
tiny) on 9 June, containing a claymore
mine, 4 Chinese-made grenades, a big IED
and 3 small IEDs, 5 detonators, and 2 wires.
The officials are thoroughly investi-
gating the eight arrested perpetrators includ-
ing Hein Min Tun who committed the ex-
plosion attack on the railway track. Neces-
sary measures are reportedly taken to arrest
other related offenders and take effective
action against them under law.

were arrested together with a bag which contained a claymore mine, 4 Chinese-
made grenades, a big IED and 3 small IEDs, 5 detonators, and 2 wires.

Innocent Civilians Brutally Killed by Armed insurgents and Terrorists

in Some Townships

Daw Hla Sandar, 45, and a middle
school teacher Daw Than Than Sint, 35,
from high school branch (Satpyakyin) who
were daughters of U Thein Zaw, village ad-
ministrator from Kyi village in Dabayin
Township of Sagaing Region were brutally
killed by Tin Maung Myo, 30, from the
same village and primary teacher Soe Zeya,
25, who participated in the CDM from
Basic Education High School of Kyi vil-
lage. In the incident, the victims were dead
with stab wounds: under shoulder, on left
chest, stomach, back of the body and cut
wounds on heads.
Two armed terrorists with a motor-
bike came to “Yoon Yoon” electronics shop
located in ward (4) of Taungtha town in
Mandalay Region and shot the shop owner,
Daw Hnin Hnin Wai (aka) Yoon Yoon, 38,
and ran away. The victim was wounded and
was taken to Taungtha township hospital for
medical treatments.
About 40 local residents were at-
tacked with small and heavy weapons by
four insurgents while taking baths in the
Katat creek in Kinmonchaung village, Ky-
aikto Township, Mon State. Due to the
armed attack, four people were wounded,
and one died on the way to Kyaikto town-
ship hospital.
It is reported that security forces have
been investigating to identify and to take
effective action the terrorists and insurgents,
who brutally killed innocent civilians, with
an intent to deteriorate the State stability
and peace, and rule of law.

 As a non-CDM teacher and a woman were brutally killed by a villager and a

CDM primary teacher, the victims were dead with stab wounds: under shoulder,
on left chest, stomach, back of the body and cut wounds on heads in Dabayin
Township.

 Local residents were attacked with small and heavy weapons by four insurgents
while taking baths in the Katat creek in Kinmonchaung village, Kyaikto Town-
ship. In the attack, four people were wounded, and one died.

poisoning in Kyu Chaung village, Than-
atpin Township, Bago Region.

Two female students (seventh-grade ) died of food
poisoning
 Two seventh-grade students die of food poisoning in Kyu Chaung village, Than-
atpin Township, Bago Region.
Two 12-year-old students named Ma
Su Mei San, 12, and Ma Thazin Khine, 12,
were seventh-grade students at Basic Edu-
cation Middle School Branch (Kyu Chaung)
in Kyu Chaung village, Thanatpin Town-
ship, Bago Region. They fell down while
they were cleaning the classroom. There-
fore, a student reported to the headmistress.
The girls were found with foaming at their
mouths, one was lying on the floor, and one
was leaning to the wall. Although the head-
mistress and midwife Daw San San Aye
took them to Thanatpin township public
hospital, they died when they arrived there.
An autopsy by the hospital‟s forensic
pathologist revealed that they had died of
food poisoning, and it is reported that fur-
ther details have been investigated.
