“FDR's Conservation Legacy (U.S. National Park Service).” National Parks Service, U.S.

Department of the Interior, www.nps.gov/articles/fdr-s-conservation-legacy.htm.

This article talks about FDR and his legacy on conservation. This article is probably trustworthy

and reliable because many other websites have the same information as this article. It is

also the website of a government agency, and if that’s not trustworthy (at least for the

most part), I don’t know what is. This article talks about how Franklin D. Roosevelt

expanded on his cousin’s work on conservation during his presidency. It informed me

about how he expanded the National Park Service, admitted many hundred acres under

federal protection, signed laws, and much more. I would use this if I were a student,

historian, environmentalist, or any other person interested in learning more about FDR

and the environment.

This article talks about who is responsible for climate change, specifically in the year 2016. I

think this article is trustworthy because many other articles have said the exact same or
almost the same thing in their articles, and I have also used The Guardian for other

climate related projects. This article, in particular, talks about the fact that just 100

companies and businesses in 2016 emitted more than 71% of all greenhouse gases that

year. It also talks about other ways that companies and corporations have poured their

waste into the environment, and how much it costs us, as taxpayers, to fix. I would

recommend this article to a student, ecologist, environmentalist, or just an ordinary person

interested in understanding climate change.

“Theodore Roosevelt and the Environment.” PBS, Public Broadcasting Service,

www.pbs.org/wgbh/americanexperience/features/tr-environment/.

This website talks about President Theodore Roosevelt and his impact on the environment

during his presidency and after. This article is likely trustworthy because it is one of many

articles about Theodore Roosevelt and his contributions to conservation, and it repeats a

lot of the same information. This article talks about where President Roosevelt got his

passion for conservation from, and the measures he took to make his beliefs a reality. It

talks about the different laws he signed, the amount of funding it took, the speeches he

made, and much more. This would be recommended to a student, or a historian, or an

environmentalist.
