STATEMENT OF WORK
1. Scope
This Statement of Work (SOW) describes the IAEA’s requirements for the provision of a
software package to establish the organisation’s Intranet on the SPO platform.
The IAEA would like to engage a SharePoint Intranet software provider that would deliver an
out‐of‐the‐box Intranet product in the IAEA’s SPO tenant. However SAAS solutions will also
be considered. The solution should be configurable and extendable by an external party such
as the internal IAEA SharePoint team.
The contractor should have in their service offering the ability for ongoing support and
maintenance of the product, including updates to the Intranet product in line with any
updates to the underlying SPO platform.
2. Definitions, Acronyms, and Abbreviations
The following definitions, acronyms, and abbreviations shall apply throughout this SOW
unless defined otherwise hereinafter:

3. Requirements
3.1 Mandatory Requirements
The contractor shall specify in response to this SOW, whether the product meets each of the
individual items below, and how it delivers that feature:

MR06 Ready‐made branding and themes with responsive layout
MR07 Support for document management with managed metadata
MR08 Content indexing and search capabilities
MR09 Accessible from IAEA desktop and IAEA‐supported mobile devices (iPhone, iPad,
Android)
MR10 Ability for external party such as the IAEA SharePoint team to extend the functionality
by adding IAEA‐created modules at some point in the future
3.2 Optional Requirements
The contractor shall specify in response to this SOW, whether the product meets each of the
individual items below, and how it delivers that feature:

3.3 As part of their response, the Contractor should specify
if their product contains additional or best practice Intranet features not listed in
above features;
a proposed implementation plan indicating delivery dates and highlighting when and
what input from IAEA will be required;
their security practises; including what secure development standards do they use
and how is patch management handled;
how the product manages access and authorization, and any relevant logging.

3.4 The IAEA can provide the SharePoint Online subscription, user profile management and
synchronization. If the Contractor chooses to utilize the IAEA’s SPO tenant, the Contractor
shall
‐ instruct the SharePoint administrators at IAEA on how to prepare the IAEA’s SPO
tenant for the Intranet package installation
‐ install the Intranet package on the IAEA’s SPO tenant.
3.5 The Contractor shall provide on‐going maintenance as part of its support package that
should include updates to the package, should the underlying SharePoint Online platform
upgrades cause features to not work.
4. Deliverables
As part of the response to the SOW, the Contractor should provide
‐ Responses to the mandatory and optional requirements listed in sections 3.1 and 3.2
above with explanations, where required
‐ Proposed implementation timeline on delivering the product
‐ Product architecture document including security practises, authentication and
authorization
‐ Product roadmap highlighting the future planned releases of the product for the next 12
months
‐ Two case studies of delivery of the product at an organisation similar in size and
requirements to IAEA
‐ Service level agreement options for on‐going maintenance of the product
After the primary evaluation, the technically qualified bidders will be invited to present a
non‐binding and free‐of‐charge product demonstration to IAEA stakeholders, to
demonstrate how their product meets the requirements.
The successful Contractor shall deliver over the course of the engagement, the following
data items:
- Product documentation
- Installed product and software source code
