A. Politics is the process of making decisions and ability to govern and control over that applies to
all members of a group of people in a community, state or nation. An important aspect of it is
the capacity to influence and lead a group of people, a Leader. As a member of the society or
community introduce yourself by completing the sentence below:

I am a Filipino because I was born in the land of the Philippines. As a Filipino, I am tied to
the great history and tradition of the country. I have respect for everyone and value my
family and religion. As a Filipino, I’m going to be honest all the time, helpful to others, a
loyal citizen of my country, and I will fight for what is right and for my country.

B. People given the freedom to make life choices which includes how they respond to life events. It
is important that people are still capable of optimism despite all adversities in life. Give your
sounds reflection on it. (15 pts)

Resilience is the emotional strength that allows people to cope with tragedy, adversity,
and hardship. People who are resilient use their resources, strengths, and skills to
overcome obstacles and overcome setbacks. People who lack resilience are more prone
to feel overwhelmed or powerless, and they are more likely to use harmful coping
mechanisms such as avoidance, isolation, and self-medication. People who had
attempted suicide had considerably lower resilience scale ratings than people who had
never attempted suicide.

Stress, setbacks, and tough emotions are all part of life for resilient people, but they use
their strengths and seek assistance from others to overcome obstacles and work
through problems. They can accept and adapt to a circumstance and go forward with
resilience.

According to Sood, resilience is "the core power you utilize to carry the load of life" like
most of us Filipinos.

C. Today’s adolescents are exposed to a technology revolution with the prevalence of computer
use and accessibility, the internet and sophisticated mobile phones. According to one article,
Philippines is the fastest-growing market of smartphones in the ASEAN. Describe your Digital
Self by creating your own pledge entitled, “A PLEDGE FOR RESPONSIBLE SOCIAL NETWORKING”
(15 pts)

To be a responsible person on social networking, I pledge to use my privilege, my

gadgets, and my freedom correctly. I will not use it to intentionally cause harm to
others. Also, as a computer science student, I will use my platform to educate others
about cyber security and protect them from any threats.

D. Goal is a target or objective of a motivated and directed chain of behavior of a person, it seen as
good and important.

1. Give your 1 short-term goal that you think you can accomplish within this semester and
make a step-by-step plan on how you can accomplish it.

My Short-term Goal: Is to Improve my overall academic performance

 I will engage more on extra curricular activities that I think may help
improve my skills and knowledge.
 I will be utilizing my resources properly to save money and time to
achieve the deadline.
 I will set up a study schedule and follow it.
  I will be preparing a note and reviewer to help with remembering
the lesson

2. Give your 1 Long-term goal and make a step-by-step plan on how you plan to accomplish
it

My Long-term Goal: Is to become financially stable

My Time frame: More or less than 10 years from now

 First I need to finish my studies.
 Find a job that will help me improve my experience, knowledge, and
skill.
 Apply for life and business insurance.
 Invest in stock market or cryptocurrency
 I need to save money or loan from the bank to start a business like
apartment or commercial building.
