Simulation of Transformer

Aim:
To simulate the Transformer on step down and step-up mode
using OrCAD capture CIS and find the input and output voltage
both simulation and analytical calculation.

Analytic Calculation:

Voltage transformation ratio = √ (2000/20) = 10:1
Input Voltage x Voltage Transformation Ratio = Output Voltage
Input Voltage = 200V

Therefore; 10 x 200 = 2000V (Output Voltage)

✓ Step-Down Transformer:
Voltage transformation ratio = √ (20/2000) = 1:10
Input Voltage x Voltage Transformation Ratio = Output Voltage
Input Voltage = 200V

Therefore; 0.1 x 200 = 20V (Output Voltage)
