Connectivity

Cloud Connectivity
CyrusOne has multiple options for Cloud Service Provider (CSP)
connectivity.

1.
CyrusOne can provide direct connection via our 100% end-to-end core protected/redundant
Metro IX and Nation (City-to-City) IX networks straight to Cloud Service Providers (CSP) like:
AWS (Houston), IBM Cloud (Dallas) and Oracle (Chandler and Northern Virginia).

2.
CyrusOne partners with Megaport for CSP connectivity. Megaport’s Software Defined Network
(SDN) is ordered through CyrusOne and provides customers with fast, flexible and on-demand
connectivity to multiple CSPs like AWS, Azure, Google, Alibaba, IBM, Oracle and Salesforce.
Physical connections are established through single (or multiple) physical 1 Gbps or 10 Gbps
ports. Multiple connections are then established across the port(s) via Virtual Cross-Connects
(VXCs). VXCs are Layer 2 secure connections to CSPs and can range in bandwidth sizes.
Megaport allows up to 100 VXC connections per port. The VSCs can be turned up (or down)
at any time via the Megaport portal. All CyrusOne U.S. data centers are connected end-to-end
core protected/redundant network to Megaport’s SDN national backbone.

3.
CyrusOne is a carrier neutral facility which enables clients to contract directly with any of our
onsite cloud/carrier providers.
