From Reading the case it is certain that the agricultural sector can be a potential sector for the water
resource management system aquaWISE as Agriculture is the primary source of livelihood for about
58% of India's population and require information about various things like crop planning, water
usage, efficient use of water and efficient use of the resources and as understood by the case
aquaWISE is potential in doing the job
Moreover, India being so dependent into the agriculture sector yet it is using the traditional method
for the crop harvesting, in other words it is using hard work rather than smart work, also water is the
major issue farmers majorly face so they require a concrete plan for water management for effective
and efficient use of water as a resource.
