Subject : Trading Restrictions in Select Commodities

In terms of Bye-laws, Rules and Regulations of the Exchange and as per the directives of the
Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), Trading and Clearing members are hereby
informed the following in respect of trading in commodities listed herewith in Annexure 1:

1. No fresh positions (including intra-day) will be allowed in respect of Futures and Options
contracts of commodities listed in Annexure 1 on the Exchange with effect from beginning of
day December 20, 2021. Only squaring up of existing positions will be allowed.

2. No new Futures and Options contracts will be launched till further notice in any of the
commodities listed in Annexure 1.

3. The above mentioned directions are applicable for a period of one year.

Members and their respective constituents are requested to note the above.
