A dog has become a life partner of the human beings and have had a very strong bond for

so many years now.

From a guardian and ally, to sofa and walking companion in the streets, over time, dogs has been able to
adapt to our different lifestyles. We can therefore say that the relationship that has been established between
a human being and the 4-legged creature is of pure friendship. A relationship that is based on trust, affection
and the need to be together. But what are the reasons why we can say that the dog is actually a man's best
friend?
1. They could be the best comedians.
Whether they're just playing with their favorite toy or doing something funny with their paws, their silly acts,
and their joy of living always makes us want to laugh. The playful and uninhibited nature of dogs is pure
entertainment for humans. Dogs are naturally inclined to play hide and seek, return the ball, etc. I have a
Siberian Husky myself but we don’t play these. Instead, we play Taekwondo and chase. Yes, Taekwondo, he
would always chase me or anyone in our backyard then do a drop kick which would make us all laugh out loud
because of how he does it and trust me, it also hurt a lot.
2. They listen in silence.
A dog cannot speak to us through words, but it can understand when something is wrong and does it with
gestures. How many times have you ever said "my dog understood that I was sad and lay down next to me" or
"my dog saw me cry and came towards me and gave me his paw"? They have the gift of knowing how to stay
by our side, listening to our feelings in their own way to support us.
3. They could be our personal security guard at home.
It doesn’t matter whether a dog is small or big, it can always protect you from bad guys who are trying to
break into your house (not all dogs are like this because I know that some dogs are really soft and they trust all
humans). I have proven this to myself because my sister-in-law almost got their house robbed. Fortunately,
their pet dog, a Pomeranian named Kiw-Kiw, just saved the day. Based on her story, Kiw was barking out loud
and nonstop which caused her parents to wake up and they saw that someone was trying to break in from the
window. Unfortunately, the unknown person got away immediately but what’s more important is that nothing
was stolen and everyone is safe.
4. We can create new friends with other dog owners.
Anyone who owns a dog has had the experience of sharing stories, laughter and photographs with other dog
owners. In fact, our 4-legged friend helps us to be more sociable and to open up to new friendships. In fact,
there are many owners who started by meeting at the park by chance and end up becoming real friends.
5. They do not judge us and they are faithful.
What a dog needs are just our presence and our love. They will never be interested in our physical
appearance, our economic and work situation or our most extravagant passions. What matters is just always
being together with them, no matter where.
6. They can be a stress reliever and can improve our mood.
Whenever we feel tired or exhausted from work, school, or anything, a dog’s presence can reduce or can even
take away our fatigue immediately. They welcome us happily after what could be the worst day of our lives
and we already feel better just seeing them wagging their tails as we open the door.
7. They love the company of humans.
Whether it's relaxing on the sofa or bed, or taking a ride in the car with their front feet and head out the
window, dogs are always happy with their owners. They are always by their side and follow them to every
room in the house to see what they do. Dogs tend to create a strong bond with those who give them the most
attention and often choose a favorite person.
8. They give us unconditional love.
No matter what you do, your dog will always love you. In a world that is sometimes a bit difficult, knowing that
your dear dog can't wait for you to get home and can help you get through anything you’ve been going
through is something that is so precious. Even if all of the people around you betray or leave you, your dog will
never will. Even in the saddest moment of your life, your dog will stay by your side and get through everything
together because dogs have always been loyal, kind, understanding and courageous animals.
Dogs have now become an integral part of the family for owners. We are proud of our 4-legged friend. We
spoil them with lots of treat. We boast of them in public and, sometimes, we dress them up with funny and
cute costumes. We play with them, hug them tightly and count on their support.
For all these reasons and many more, someone who has a dog as their best friend is very lucky. If you love,
take care of your 4-legged friend and respect his unique character, he/she will reward you with a life full of
love.
