wandered a bit off course. They have instead found the
fabled island of Catakatoa. Though just as rich in natmal
resources as its more famous sister-i land, Catakatoa
has a dangerou heart: the great volcano known as
Catak:au. According to native l.egends, a great demon
slumbers in the bowel of the mountain; and. omeday
that demon will awake, spreading destruction through After the native award their final gift , the volcano and

settlements, roads, and cities that border the volcano hex.

the natives.
• After the natives have given their gifts, lava wiU flow down
one of the six sides of the volcano. Roll one 6-sided die. The
lava will flow towards the comer of the hex with lhe number
Ulat matche the die roll. If there i a ettlement on that ide
of the volcano. then it i destroyed by the lava and removed. If
Ulere is a city on that comer, then it is replaced by a settlement.
• After the lava does its damage, remove the top token from the
stack, revealing the next number.
