Reading Comprehension Task
The distinction between the two frameworks is that the de-development framework
focuses on ensuring that people live long, healthy, pleased, and happy lives regardless of
their socioeconomic status (lower, medium, or upper). Even if our planet is
overpopulated, the conventional paradigm of development seeks greater economic
expansion to improve our lives. This has a negative consequence. For me, it's like
individuals who aren't satisfied with what they have and are looking for something
better. It's OK to want more, even greater economic opportunities, but we must keep in
mind that our planet is overcrowded.

glorified because it distorts the objective of science and the scientists
involved.
