a. What do you know abput procedure text?


Procedure text is  text that is designed to describe how something is
achieved through a sequence of actions or steps.

b. What are the social functions of procedure text?

Social functions of procedure text, they are:

1. to explain or to give information how to use or how to make


something for readers
2. to describe how something is done in sequenced steps.
3. provides a series of steps in sequence that explain the readers how
to do something.
4. The communicative purpose of the text is to tell the steps of
making or doing something.

c. How is procedure text constructed?


There is an introductory statement or title that gives the aim or goal
of the procedure, followed by a list of materials that will be needed to
complete the procedure. The final section is a sequence of steps, in
the order they need to be completed, to achieve this goal.

d. What are the lexico-grammatical features commonly found in


procedure text?

1. Language Features of manual are


2. Using simple present tense.
3. Using adverbial of sequence or - Using temporal adjective.
4. Using imperative sentences or ommand
5. Using action verbs.
6. Using conjunctions to link a process to another process.

How to Print a file using a printer

Materials :

1. Laptop or computer
2. Printer
3. Paper (HVS)

Steps :

1. first, Turn on your laptop in accordance with the


applicable operating system
2. Second, Look for the file that you want to print
3. Third, Turn on your printer (Make sure it is connected with
electricity)
4. Dont forget to Put HVS that you have prepared in the appointed
place
5. Then, Connect the USB cable from
the printer to your Computer or Laptop
6. Next, Click tab "File" located at the top corner
7. Remember to Click "Print"
8. Then, Click the icon with a picture printer
9. Then, a short delay due to the ongoing process of printing
10. Finally the printing process has been completed
