REFLECTION

Ang Bayan Ko
The song is about Philippines which is our country. It depicts how Lapu-lapu defends for it and
died for it for how much he treasures it. The music video shows the first trial of colonization of
the Spaniards. The song gives chills to me because it talks about how different Filipinos tried to
fight for our country. For us, just to be free they sacrifice their life fighting for it.

It portrays how the different countries tried to colonize us, and we Filipinos who suffered tried
to claim our freedom and made everything they can do to fight for our country. It just shows
that whoever wants to claim our land, we must give ourselves fighting for it.

The song also says how beautiful this country and by that reason, it attracts different foreign
people and make it suffer. Crying for its freedom, it is depicted by a bird who tries to get out
form its cage. It also depicts how brave our heroes who fight for the freedom we need.
