are still working from home during the ongoing pandemic; the software maker has unveiled “hybrid workplace” guidance
internally to allow for far greater flexibility once US offices eventually reopen.

Question No 2.
The world's largest drone-maker, DJI, has reported that it will take a loss of up to a billion yuan ($150 million) due to employee
fraud, according to Bloomberg and other sources. The company said that it fired multiple employees who apparently inflated
parts costs to pad their own pockets. DJI discovered the "extensive" corruption during an internal probe and has contacted law
enforcement. The corruption probe is one of the largest ever in the recent history of Chinese tech, according to Bloomberg.
"DJI condemns any form of corruption strongly and has set up a high-level anti-corruption task force to investigate further and
strengthen anti-corruption measures," the company said. According to the government-run China Securities Journal, over 40
individuals at the company have been investigated. "We are taking steps to strengthen internal controls and have
established new channels for employees to submit confidential and anonymous reports relating to any violations of
the company's workplace conduct policies," it said in a statement. "We continue to investigate the situation and are
cooperating fully with law enforcement's investigation."

A: Explain what will be their objectives of performance appraisal? Describe the methods.
B: Draw the diagram of 360 Degree Evaluation. Explain by which categories DJI will keep an employee or lay him /her off?

Question No 3.
A prototype of the future giant SpaceX rocket Starship — which the company hopes will become its go-to for Mars missions
— crashed in a fiery explosion during a test launch along the Texas coast on Wednesday. But the company line was upbeat as a
livestream of the launch displayed the on-screen message “AWESOME TEST. CONGRATS STARSHIP TEAM!”
“Mars, here we come!!” SpaceX founder Tesla’s Elon Musk tweeted just minutes after the flight, explaining that a too-fast
landing speed was to blame for the crash. He recounted the successful parts of the rocket’s short late afternoon trip: the take-
off, the change of position in flight and its (pre-explosion) precise landing trajectory.
“We got all the data we needed! Congrats SpaceX team,” he tweeted.
A: Explain what are the differences between a Strong and weak organizational culture? What does an innovative culture looks
like? How would a Bangladeshi CEO would react if the expensive rockets failed?
B: Describe the 7 C’s of Communication & Communication Trilogy.
Question No 4.
Tesla Inc's vehicle orders in China nearly halved in May from April, against the backdrop of increased government scrutiny on
the U.S. electric carmaker, the Information reported on Thursday, citing internal data. The company's monthly net orders in
China dropped to about 9,800 in May from more than 18,000 in April. China is the electric car maker's second-biggest market
after the United States and accounts for about 30% of its sales. Tesla makes electric Model 3 sedans and Model Y sport-utility
vehicles in a Shanghai plant. Tesla had won strong backing from Shanghai when it built its first overseas factory there in 2019.
Tesla's Model 3 sedans were the best-selling electric vehicles in the country before they were overtaken by a much cheaper
micro EV made by the joint venture between General Motors (GM.N)and SAIC Motor. But the U.S. company is now facing
scrutiny over its handling of customer complaints over quality issues.

A: Draw the lifecycle of a company.

B: Explain who are the Stakeholders of Tesla in China?

Question No 5.
Amazon is hiring 75,000 workers across its warehouse and delivery network in the U.S. and Canada, the company said
Thursday. The company will also offer a $100 bonus to new warehouse and transportation hires who show proof of their
Covid-19 vaccination. Amazon said the jobs will offer an average starting pay of $17 per hour, reflecting its recent wage
increases, which bumped up pay by between 50 cents and $3 an hour for more than half a million of its U.S. operations
employees. The hiring push comes as businesses are looking for labor in an increasingly tight market. Some businesses say
they've struggled to find workers as a result of expanded jobless benefits. Critics have argued that employers should consider
raising wages to attract workers.
