CALIBRATION PROCEDURE

PRESSURE SWITCH

Make UE
Model H100
Type
Set Point  1.0 Bar

Note: The up arrow “” indicates that the switch contact will change at 1.0 Bar increasing pressure.

PRE-REQUISITES
 Digital Multi-meter with Continuity Test (with audible sound)
 Connecting Leads
 Pressure Source (Deadweight Oil Tester/DRUCK DPI 601/COMBITEST or
Any other)

PRECAUTIONS

 Check the Range of the switch before applying pressure

 Don’t apply pressure more than its maximum range
 Use proper size fittings to avoid damage to the device
 Don’t remove any pressure connection while device is pressurized

CONNECTION

 Connect the C (Common) and NO (Normally Open) with Multimeter’s Continuity Test Port
as above diagram
 Connect Pressure source (Deadweight) with switch’s pressure input port with proper
fittings.

CALIBRATION STEPS

1. Increase input pressure up to 1 Bar

2. If continuity sound is heard below 1 bar, rotate the adjusting nut Clockwise  to increase
set point
3. If continuity sound is not heard at 1 Bar pressure rotate the adjusting nut Anti-Clockwise 
to decrease the set point
4. Release pressure to zero
5. Again apply 1 Bar
6. If continuity sound is heard at 1 bar then calibration is “ok”
7. If not then adjust by rotating the adjusting nut
8. Repeat steps 2 to 7 until calibration is “ok”

REPEATABILITY CHECK
The calibration of the switch should be tested minimum 3 times to ensure repeatability.
