1. Commencement

Employment will begin on Monday the 4th of October and continue for 1 (one ) month unless
extended or until terminated as set out in clause 6 of the guidelines.

2. Place of work: BabyCorp. Shop 2 stand 504, Kariba heights, Kariba.

3. Job description: 1. Processing customer payments and sales.


2. receiving unpacking and arranging new stock from suppliers
3. addressing customer complaints and enquiries
4.cleaning and rearranging shop before working hours
5. assisting customers in finding products and providing
information on what’s in store.
6. Advertising of goods and services offered.

4. Hours of work

4.1 Normal working hours will be in expected from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
4.2 Should employee decide on longer hours, employer will not be liable to pay for the
extra hours employee would’ve incurred during her prolonged stay.
5. Wage

5.1 The employee shall be taken on a full time basis period of 1 month(s)
where her wage shall be paid at the end of the month at the amount of
USD……. or market equivalent on day of payment.

5.2 The employer and employee shall periodically review the salary and make
agreed upon adjustments should employee be required for longer period.

6. Termination of employment

Either party can terminate this agreement without notice during the first two months
of employment and with one week notice thereafter. Notice must be given in writing
except when it is given by an illiterate shop assistant. In the case where the employee
is illiterate notice must be explained orally by or on behalf of the employer.

7. COVID -19, General hygiene and Dress code

7.1 Employee is expected to take preventative and cautionary measures even during and
not limited to her off days and holidays including but not limited to the wearing of
masks, social distancing and sanitation
7.2 Employee is expected to dress in a formal casual dress code such as but not limited
to a clean skirt/jeans and blouse/appropriately suiting tshirt

8. Public Holidays

Any work on holidays will be by agreement and will be paid according to normal
work day rates and number of days worked.

10. Sick leave

10.1 The employee is to notify the employer as soon as possible in case of his/her absence
from work due to illness.

10.2 A medical certificate may be required if absent for more than 2 consecutive days or
has been absent on more than two occasions during a 1 week period.

11. Accommodation
11.1 The employee will not be provided with accommodation for as long as the
employee is in the service of the employer.

12. Other conditions of employment or benefits

1. Stealing and giving false information will not be tolerated during the course of
employment.
2. Releasing of personal / sensitive information regarding the employer or the
employer’s premises will not be tolerated.
3. Recklessness in the handling of employer’s property will result in employee being
docked a portion of their salary to facilitate replacement of damaged property.
4. Any romantic advancements towards clients is STRICTLY prohibited.
5. An airtime allowance for whatsapp bundle shall be provided where possible to be
used for ADVERTISING PURPOSES ONLY

18. General

Any changes to the written particulars will only be valid if agreed to by both parties.
