ProNest- Nesting Multiple Parts:

1. Click Home
2. Click Edit part list
3. “Look In:” Drop Down Tab - Choose your flash drive
4. Choose your drawing (double click)
5. Go to “Material” Drop Down Tab - Choose your material
- (a page will appear ask if you want to reapply leads, press yes)
6. Go to “Class” Drop Down Tab - Choose the class
7. Go to “Quantity” Drop Down Tab – Choose the amount you want to cut out
8. Click “Return To Nesting” (Top Right Corner)
9. Click Home
10.Click on “Auto Nest” (the circle should be yellow. If it is green click the drop
down menu right below and change it)
11.In “AutoNest Setup” screen will pop up.
- Under “How should ProNest create new nests?” click the circle next to
“Use a custom plate…”
- There is a dropdown menu under “Rectangular” that says “96.000 x
48.000 in.”
- Click on the drop down tab and select “custom plate”
- In the “Length (in.):” and “Width (in.):” enter in the dimensions of the
metal you will be using.
- Once the dimensions are correct, select “Okay”
12.Click Home
13.Click Output
14.“Output folder:” Drop Down Tab - Choose your flash drive
15.Name your file.
16.On the left side of the file list, there are boxes. Mark the box that goes with
your file.
17.Click “Output”
18.An “Output Progress” screen will pop up, wait for the status to say
“Completed,” then press Close.

ProNest is complete. You can now take the thumb drive out of the computer
